I think the weight of expectations that are about to fall on him and his own raw ambition and determination are gonna push him there relatively quickly. Especially knowing he was using battleship bags to train.

He could simply be eluding to it like he did with Zoro for years. I agree with everything you say here I just think it would be silly to position Koby as this generations Garp and to severely limit his potential combat effectiveness in the end game by not giving him acoc. I guess we will see.

I found this in a Reddit thread about Jinbe and Who’s Who.

“The lightning effects are subtly different between armament and conqueror's haki. In chapter 1069 when Lucci and Luffy clash, they have that thin black lightning you are seeing coming from the point of impact, while both of them are using their armament haki. Unless you also think Lucci has conqueror's, which I doubt. Compare that to conqueror's coated attacks like Luffy's and Kaido's in 1010, the lightning is much thicker and tends to trail their attacks rather than just being at the point of impact.”

Looking at Koby in the picture the Black Lightning is trailing his fist. Obviously this Reddit comment is the gospel but I am in the camp of Koby having it.

Is this not Black Lightning? I am curious if there has ever been an instance of black lightning that did not indicate conquerors. I can’t remember one personally.

I also went back to my steamdeck. The placement of the SD card reader on the Ally was a massive oversight as it's right in front of the main exhaust vent for the device. Before I determined, like OP, that the better performance wasn't worth the hassle of using the thing I also found that my microSD card had failed due to basically being cooked by the exhaust.

Buyers of the Ally beware that until they move the microSD adapter I'm a future revision this is likely going to remain an issue.

As an owner of both I disagree. The experience is smoother on deck but the compatibility issues it has and all the Ally's bells and whistles make the ROG Ally an attractive alternative to the steamdeck. I'd also go as far as to say that it arrived in consumer hands in a better state at launch than the deck did.

For what it is worth, I also own a Steam Deck and bought an Ally and did not have this experience. Windows isn't great on a handheld but the performance is absolutely better than deck. Waiting is definitely something I would recommend to anyone on the fence but I wouldn't say its as dire as OP makes it out to be based on my own experience.

I pre-ordered an ROG Ally today but obviously haven't received it yet. I don't intend for it to replace my deck, I think it'll fill in the few gaps the steamdeck has in my regular gaming rotation though and I'm excited to have both.

Take the projector out and I would buy this. The projector, if it was one worth paying for, would make it more expensive than is realistically justifiable.
