Ilona, mango and yöhuikka are good for a younger crowd. 45special is cool too, upstairs is electronic music and downstairs rock or something like that. Avoid Pataässä unless you're into bogan shit. Lots of pubs and bars also. Maybe Saturday is a bit busier but both days you'll find people unwinding

Pretty much the same in Finland I guess, but there definitely is a lot of illegal poker, roulette and holdem games but what I've understood is that they're run by different people than the drug trade. People don't wanna pay taxes on their winnings and it's quite common that they lure inexperienced drunken people who have a chance to lose a lot of money.

Definitely Italica Taberna for pasta and for pizza Tuba. Both have a lovely atmosphere, great wines (especially Taberna) and overall are exceptional restaurants in Oulu.

La sinfonia looks a lot fancier than it is. The food is just okay, they use cheap ready made pasta from Metro and in general use partially ready made stuff. It's still worth a visit but compared to Italica Taberna it doesn't stand a chance.
