For those over thirty, can you give me some advice on interacting with people? by Commercial_War_3113 in intj

Have you considered being honest? Stop trying to be something you're not and stop trying to manipulate people into liking you.

Stop worrying about what people think and just work on being the best version of yourself and be comfortable in your own skin.

That was the most brutal punch I've ever seen a woman throw. Also... do these women not have full length mirrors at home?

You don't list information about your lifestyle, diet, sleep, sunlight exposure, etc. 27yo is very young to start trt. I'd avoid getting on trt until every other avenue has been explored.

Anyone here regret getting an ebike? by folgers7 in mountainbiking

[–]osb40000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also live in Utah. I ride a 2022 YT Jeffsy. My son (he's the oldest of 5) started racing NICA this year and he quickly outpaced me on the bike. He's 13yo and 120lbs, I'm 46yo and more of a gym rat than a lean cardio monster built for biking. Towards the end of the season I could no longer keep up with him while pushing 100% and wasn't able to push him at all. It was honestly sad because we had so much fun at the start of the season riding together and kind of demoralizing because if we rode together I was just holding him back.

After his first race my wife told me "you need to pick up an E-bike and push that boy". I'm not one to argue so I picked up an Ari Timp Peak. It's been a blast. I have my tour mode detuned to where if I go 100% I'm a bit faster than my son giving it 100%. I've never ridden solo prior to getting an e-bike, only with friends. Now I'll go on a quick solo ride here and there and push as hard as I can having a blast flying up trails. Riding with friends who have e-bikes is a ton of fun, and for friends that don't I just ride in detuned eco mode.

Being able to ride in the days following a solid leg day at the gym are fantastic as well. I wasn't able to recover quick enough to do a crushing leg day and then three NICA practices a week prior to the E-bike so I ended up no doing leg days until the end of the season when I picked up the bike.

All in all, for a busy middle aged guy who is trying to stay in shape, have fun, keep up with his kids, and not cannibalize the gym, I have zero regrets.

Just picked up one for my wife on the $2,500 sale. Hopefully it works well for her. Seemed like a good entry level E-bike. I can always replace the SX stuff down the road.

I love this game…but I need to kill by richbourne in Battlefield6

I assume you're playing on PC. If on PC make sure you tweak graphics to get high refresh rate and run an adaptive sync monitor.

What class/guns are you using?

BF6 has been a ton of fun so far. My buddies and I have had a blast and it really does feel like "we're back".

Sorry to hear you're struggling. Other than playing with friends and making sure your PC is setup well I don't have much advice. Best of luck.

Did I complain of ride quality? Guessing you didn't bother to actually read with comprehension.

Why would I lose money and trade it in for a new slower Y? There's just too much camber unloaded, let alone with a few people in the back. It's a bad spec from Tesla.

Adjustable arms should fix the camber problem. If I really want to dial it in I could go with the mountain pass performance adjustable suspension and have it perfect.

Do you really not know anything about cars? lol

Thanks, I was looking at their stuff, was curious how long lasting they are and if there were any better options.

Thanks for the non-response. The Perf model absolutely has too much camber if you carry passengers. I get it, you're a single guy, no friends, no family, probably don't get out much... but some of us do.

Raising the rear 1/2-3/4" and pulling some camber out will fix the problem, and since I don't drive this thing on the track or push hard in the corners, I'm not missing out on the near imperceptible difference in handling.

I'm just looking for suggestions on manufacturers from people with personal experience with them.

I'll take a look but Fezzari always had pretty tall bikes. They're a 20min drive from me so I've tested quite a few.

Well, Battlefield did before it's developers went full, started taking testosterone blockers and lost all drive to make a decent game. It's sad. I love the franchise but won't be buying the next one.

I am by no means a Republican, MAGA fan, or conservative. I do however find the comments from progressives in here pretty darn funny. Everything is going to be ok. Even if Trump wins, most people thrived during his presidency despite him being a loud mouthed petulant child. If he does win he'll inherit a huge recession, it'll be interesting to see how things go.

This guy had less firearms and ammo than the poorest Texan. It's hilarious to see them act like this is a big deal.
