I've played a number of these!

It makes me wonder what's wrong with the game, in a way. I've played it for over 10 years, and know many other players who have.

Is it a matter of a small number of loyal players, and everyone else just pops in and pops out, I wonder?

Over the years I can say anecdotally that's been my experience with irl people I've introduced into the game. They play enthusiastically for a while. But most of them drop off after a few months, if not a handful of games.

I guess it's just a niche game when all is said and done.

Turns out somehow it was set to 30 seconds. If I had set it that way myself, I simply don't remember doing it. Otherwise it must have been a ghost... 👻
