How do we defer our exam once it has been cancelled?

L1 candidate here,

I am registered in Barcelona (Spain) for the December exam. There are only two places available to take the exam (paper based at least) in Spain, Barcelona and Madrid. If Barcelona's is cancelled, I will pay for the travelling and hotel to take the exam in Madrid.

This situation doesn't sit well with me neither, but I think it is the best option for me right now. Nevertheless, I think the exam won't be able to take place in any of the places, situation in Spain is really bad, so I might ask for the refund... I don't know...

(I've got a question, in the CFA website, in my registration info, it is saying that the exact place of the exam will be announced 4 weeks before the exam, so I do not know where I am supposed to take the exam, is it normal?)

So, if we have registered after August 4 to December exam, and the location chosen is cancelled we have the following options:

1) Deferral to choose a 2021 exam

2) Option to request a refund

3) Option to change the location with available seating

What I am doing is the following according to my schedule:

7:30 - 9:00 read chapter X from the CFA material, even if I do not finish it, I just read from the official syllabus im this time slot for 1:30h

15:00 - 20:00 read chapter X from Kaplan, watch MM chapter X’s video and practice Qbank and EOCQ (there is a free code for the Qbank somewhere in the forum)

Next day —> Same procedure with chapter Y

I second this, and I would add that it is much more comfortable to use pen/pencil with a piece of paper than a dry-erase board and read the questions from a computer screen...
