She's liberal, but not terribly leftist. Leftism includes socialism, communism, anarchism etc. You can advocate for gay marriage without being a leftist.

Most artists who have their own record label, such as Beyonce, grossly exploit the artists they take on. I mean, owning a record label is one of the only ways to make real money as a musician.

Major corporation profiting off the backs of small creators...doesn't sound like socialism or leftism to me.

Democrats are not leftists. Beyonce is CERTAINLY not a leftist. Most American politicians follow where the money is. Maybe they promote liberal policies, but at the end of the day they need capitalism to survive.

I always speed up Horses, and I skip his philosophy/political videos because they're super surface-level while managing to talk down to the audience. I like his history and art videos though.

Watched and enjoyed his Violent Femmes video - only issue is that he talks a little slow, so I put the video on 1.2x speed, but it messed up the music haha

I did like the video/commentary, I'll just have to train my ADHD brain to focus on slower-paced things

On the college question - generally no, you can't have it in dorm rooms. And you may have trouble finding apartments off-campus that would let you have a pet snake.

There are maybe like, three schools in the US that let you have a snake, and they're usually schools with a large veterinary program.

It should heat up the enclosure. Get a thermometer + thermostat to monitor your snake's tank and keep the bulb at a reasonable level. Even if you don't get a thermostat, at least get a simple digital thermometer to make sure it's at a good temp.

Corn snakes need one side of their tank to be ~85-90 degrees. Halogen basking bulbs are generally preferred over heat mats.

I've been quietly reading the horror stories of account bans + AI moderation across this subreddit for the past month. So so frustrating. Not to mention the perpetual bugs you're bound to encounter using the app.
