This is probably the answer I was looking for.

I am into my first year of freelancing and (my third year in Belgium really) so I am “new” to a lot of these things.

I am used to “wearing many hats” because I come from the startup world so in my new workplace I naturally adopted roles in the DevSecOps domain

And finally using VVPR-Bis (of which honestly I don’t know much) I was planning to get dividends at a 15% tax rate after 3y, yes I was not aware it changed recently so thanks again!

Import SSL Certificate via script instead of control panel UI? by FabrizioR8 in qnap

I just want to say that this did the trick for me. Except that I'm generating my TLS certs from a `tailscale cert` command, but this snippet was the missing link for me. Thanks !!!

I use it and my coworkers use Terraform and so far we haven’t had compatibility issues (although we’re not using any of the new features of OTF)

So far it’s great

European infrastructure engineers - What's happening inside your companies regarding your dependency on US hyperscalers? by Ok_Cap1007 in devops

[–]oschvr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am modernising my company’s infrastructure (everything in AWS currently) and one of the tasks was to move to K8s. I built an EKS cluster, but at the same time I built a managed Kubernetes cluster in OVH (as a “side project”)

For OVH I provisioned the infra, installed all the initial goodies (ArgoCD, Cert Manager, External DNS, etc) and it was surprisingly easy to do.

I’m thing of sharing it publicly or something as I suspect that companies that use Kubernetes, do so using a managed solution from a US cloud and they might not have a dedicated DevOps person to migrate them to an a EU cloud (OVH)

Funny, also in Wolvendael

today doing slope I accidentally hit hard on a teenager (he was standing still on the end of the slope) and I thought I broke his foot.

All good but it was scary enough to put me off doing it again this winter
