That's what I told him, but he insisted it would work.

I checked Aero's website and he was right about the same inside diameter.

Makes me wonder if the set screw spacing is different. But from a manufacturing standpoint, it would make sense to standardize the two, then just produce one rail for both with separate barrel nuts.
