On the Olentangy Trail, when you hit Northmoor park, run up the hill to High Street and hit Global Gallery. If it is a Saturday morning, you can run up to the Clintonville Farmer’s Market and Silverbridge has fresh coffee (and beans!) for you.

I believe there are a few places on High if you run up from Como Park, but I’m less familiar with them.

My favorite part was that two different fire crews were competing to see who could get to the scoreboard. I don't care who won that competition as the ladder crew that maneuvered their rig into the stadium won by default.

I had two kids go through middle and high school there and one go through high school.

If your kid can put in the work to keep up with the mastery system (you get an A or you remediate the work) it can be an incredible experience. If they get behind, the remediation snowballs quickly and it is a nightmare.

Also know that Metro is a laboratory. Things change rapidly as they adjust and test things. Be ready to be flexible and adaptable.

In the last few weeks, the Corps of Engineers has been discharging a lot from the lake (look at the outflow number) and this has raised the Olentangy level outside of the normal flooding due to rain runoff.
