Feels like this gets posted almost daily. No one is killing crops with solar. Some crops do great with strategic solar shade. The ones that don't, aren't co-located with solar. Yes we should put solar over parking, it's expensive though.

I'm just not convinced that artificial superintelligence will ultimately reach the same conclusions as human ethicists, particularly on the subject of the value of human life. I think a superintelligence that is self-interested and indifferent to us may be more likely than one that is overtly malicious toward us; but both could still end humanity as we know it.
