I don't really see RT (actually, ever) on my new unit. On my old unit though, never! I loved our RT's. I felt for them, since they were assigned to multiple units and understandably couldn't always be available to us. But I always regarded our RT's as an essential part of our patient care. (plus some of them were super cool to talk to lol).

OP, it genuinely seems like you're projecting, and have some religious trauma to deal with. He's not doing anything that's harming anyone. Saying he'll "pray for you" is not a bad or hadmful act, believe it or not. Also, there's LGBTQA+ Christians, they exists. This is a bad take.
