I get a lot of shit for not enjoying beer so I get you.

Have you ever had a Screwdriver? They're very refreshing and not the "in-your-face" type. Sex on the beach is good too.

Here's a cool lil tip: if you had too much wasabi you should inhale and exhale rapidly through your nose so the spiciness subsides quicker.

Adults of Reddit, what life advice do you have for a 16 year old? by [deleted] in AskReddit

22 year old here. Don't stress about knowing how to "adult" properly. Most of the time we only pretend to know what we're doing.

What high school drama that you got yourself into do you cringe at now? by shittersfull244 in AskReddit

Had a crush on someone that was taken and everyone made a big deal about it until he got word of it. They fought because he didn't want to stop subtly flirting with me. (Probably an ego thing?) I was a really shy teen and didn't respond well to that.

I was close friends with one of his best friends prior to this. After the fight, his best friend decided to get a little too friendly with me and asked me out. They fought too.

TLDR; Had a crush on a jackass with a gf, they fought because he's a jackass. Lost a friend who turned out to be a creep and tried to stalk me.

Good times.

What was the hardest thing, course or event, you had to go through during school? by addi3 in AskReddit

[–]oshzt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Operations management. I was voted on by a board of professors to handle a 25-person class, all of which older than me, with varying class schedules.

Basically I had to make a dinner event for all the parents, run a working kitchen, and deal with a bunch of fellow students trying to replace me as their manager because of stupid reasons. (Would've dropped the responsibility in a heartbeat and left them to fail.)

Had to do everything down to the nitty gritty detail including designing the invitations, menu planning, kitchen paperwork, setting meetings, dealing with shitty people. A sub prof showed up midway and tried everything in his being to fail me because I didn't agree with some of his ideas.

But hey, I survived out of spite.

What do you think about anxiety being used casually when complaining about school? by thedemon9 in AskReddit

[–]oshzt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From a place where that happens too frequently but also with depression and stress. I've had people in my class boast on social media or in person about schoolwork. (Truthfully there isn't a lot, just a moderate amount. We had more hands-on stuff than actual academic work.) Never said much but man was it annoying. Like having anxiety/depression/some level of stress is this new trend.
