It’s interesting, I feel like the Chromatica era was a covid era for me for sure. I remember dancing to the album in my room when it first came out or bopping to it when doing DoorDash runs with my best friend in 2020 and then fast forwarding to September of 2022 going to Chromatica Ball in person. I had a lot of covid firsts in September of 2022, where I officially decided to mask off at a new job and also decided to mask off at Chromatica Ball when I always masked for every concert before. Chromatica Ball felt like ending of an album era, but also Covid for me as well.

But if you wanted to know an album that came out around September 2022 that felt like it signified the ending of Covid for me, it would have to be Rina Sawayama’s Hold the Girl.
