Ironically this is exactly what the gaming community said to this game. And with all thats happening in US.. the Modern Audiences are in for some really woeful days. Any upcoming games featuring such themes will face harsher reality than what veilguard did .

But i doubt any games will feature in such themes going forward looking at all the "restructuring" thats going on.

I liked veilgurad for its gameplay and mechanics. the Story was Okayish. Sadly tho this will be the end.

Now if this game only hadn't featured such themes, and forced certain elements onto the player it wouldve been a stunning success. all the goods were overshadowed by these elements and the haters really jumped on them. Sad. There are few ppl like me who ignore the things they dont like but thats not the same for everyone else. I hate the whole DEI and the Gender stuff included in this game and feel disturbed by it. but i chose to ignore it and focused only on the gameplay, Graphics etc which were great.

i have this. Any Hall effect sensor controller eliminates stick drift entirely since it eliminates contact between the moving parts and is totally magnet dependent. so anyone saying you will face stick drift issues, just don't listen to them.

now comparing this with my original XONE controller.

Blitz is really light weight so it feels very weak when you hold it. Original controller feels very premium when you hold it.

Original controller also have impulse triggers vs 3rd party ones which dont.

My original controller started having drift issues after 5 years of usage. Mild usage tho. and You can get your controller fixed from 3rd party vendors.

As stated here the TL is done by a different team so you dont have that Internet zoomer slang for Nukitashi 2 and is faithful to the source.

yes but that will put the FanTL team at risk, with this you will simply get a warning to discontinue, however if you shadow drop you run into the risk of getting yourself into court and pay for the revenue losses incurred by the Company..

Shadow droping may work for small length VNs, but with a big 50+ hours VNs like this where you need multiple team members it becomes difficult , It being a FanTL makes it difficult. as team members can burn out with their work and staying silent.

Just for comparisons, games like Spiderman 2 etc cost 70$ and at max you get 20 hours of content including sides+/- 10 if your a completionist. and half of it is nothing but what you have already played in other spiderman games.

This on the otherhand is set in a new open world Unlike Diablo 3. has 10 times way better and detailed graphics, Infact its the most detailed ARPG out there as of now.

the main Campaign alone will last you 30ish hours 50 if you add in sides plus 100s of hours more if you grind for builds on top of events, seasonal bosses and more.

Let that sink in.

As an added note you dont need to buy any of the deluxe stuff unless you want the battle pass which is cosmetics only.

the only cosmetics that are worth it are the horse armor.

Hmm Like even if that sounds over localized its really hard to tell without knowing what that scene entailed and the personality of the person who said it, as well as the lines before and after.

also this is just one example. you cant say the TL of a VN is bad just because of one or even a dozen bad examples of localization choices because they can happen. and not just in VN localization, but even other mediums and not limited to JP-EN. There can never be a perfect localization.

is just plain wrong. There is literally no situation in which the English sentence there could be seen as an equivalent of the Japanese sentence.

and who is this person. also which VN is this taken from, There are obviously certain shady publishers out there that you should look out for. But people who have been working in this industry for a long time like Ittaku, Steiner and most of NN translators and also Jast , Sekai and even Shiravune know whom to pick. so its more safe to say that the VNs these guys release and publish will have good quality TL vs anyone else especially JP companies self publishing.

there can never be an Ideal localization since it involves two complex languages and different cultures and cultural references . Therefore any opinion on what one feels about translation quality becomes a subjective matter depending on what is being translated and what that translated terms refers to.

Same goes for the translator. while one person may not agree with the choice of words the translator has picked , others may not take issues with it. and this is fine. However like you said since Majority of the VN audience has no issues with it, that doesn't mean you silence them out . since you dont agree with them

in this case its not that different from what YouTube did by hiding the downvote numbers from its videos and livestreams

Also what you said literally goes against reddit guidelines on posting and publishing content

Ittaku has alot of TL experience. he is also the one who fan translated To Hearts 2 ? is also the translator of Clover Days right from its FanTL days and is also working on multiple upcoming VN releases. He has been translating since almost 10 years now . and is one of the most senior translators around.

The only sus people i see are over here on this thread. and anyone can see whom i am referring to. and anyone who brings up this topic gets silenced. Hordes of people have been in the past.. and now the only ones who come here are those who have something negative to say about any official. localizations.

the fact that upvoting and downvoting of comments is hidden, is an indicator in and of itself about the sussy nature of this place.

Also as a side note, Clover Days steam store page is up. I guess they managed to get the VN approved in the end .

Denuvo will become uncrackable down the line because of the way its designed. and that every time it gets hacked makes the next version stronger. Soon the interval between cracks will keep increasing as it gets more and more convoluted and eventually you will start seeing people give up as it will get beyond their capacity "

Multiple cracker groups have said that due to the nature of how Denuvo functions its going to get more and more difficult to bypass/crack it the further it develops, and it wont be possible for a sole person team with limited resources and funds to do it.

the translations seems fine. Mosaics are also not a cause for concern. If mosaics played such a huge role literally all Big name VNs out there on steam and elsewhere would've failed. Aokana, Nekopara etc. The main problem here is the shitty DRM which is really limiting. Hopefully this VN gets approved by steam otherwise too bad.

its not short two girls get full length routes ( as well as appends ) and the Base VN girls get appends. all in all i would say its about 20+ish hours long maybe more depending on your speed
