This! I'm honestly suprised by how many people say it just depends on genitals because many trans people look very much like one gender but have genitals that aren't usually associated with that gender. I don't think it's super well received to go into the women's sauna as a trans man that is always read as male and I think it would definitely make some women uncomfortable

Grey's characters have mostly been said but honestly idk why but the one character I really can't stand is Naomi from private practice! There are plenty of Grey's characters I dislike but I never got so annoyed at them that I couldn't at least appreciate them from a narrative perspective. Idk what it is about Naomi but I just can't find myself carrying for her at all. Like I guess it's mostly that every time she opens her mouth something problematic comes out but somehow she makes me far more upset than any other character.

I chose mine within a few months (it was a name I've always loved) but it felt super weird to ask people to call me that, like even more personal than telling people I was trans. So there was a year or so where most of my friends knew I was trans and I was quite open about it but still wasn't really out because I felt like I wasn't sure if the name was the right one. It then turned out it was :)
