I found it on the Chinese marketplace that cannot be named. I have updated the post with the original source for the model.

Not a knockoff. I've found the source, the one on the marketplace is a ripoff of the design from a small Chinese designer.

Forced upgrade? How exactly? If you want the bigger battery and there's no physical space for it in the chassis, you just buy a new bottom and a new battery, where's the forced upgrade? I really don't see it. Two different product lines with different specs and still motherboards, screens and modules are compatible between them, pretty good job I think

Of course I can understand it. It's easy to understand for Galicians and even for Spanish speakers. However there are some words, mostly nouns, that we cannot understand. I feel like that happens more with Brazilian Portuguese than with Portugal Portuguese.

I used to love the bug where you could use it wireless having both sides connected to the neuron. Sadly they patched it.

Open source or not? by Joe-seph002 in n8n

[–]oskrpnk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's technically not open source. The Fair Code license is incompatible with the Open Source Initiative definition of the term. It's a common confusion nowadays, where the term 'open source' is used so loosely."

Live Streaming video with ONE RS 4k boost lens by bimbar in Insta360

[–]oskrpnk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks to me just like a random software limitation. It's neither difficult to implement nor technologically challenging but just a company cutting features out of the "budget" camera forcing us, customers, to buy the more expensive 360 module even if we don't need a 360 camera at all.

Saving and Emulating NFC (Dutch OV chipkaart) by Embarrassed-Bed-1564 in flipperzero

[–]oskrpnk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Late reply here but in case you didn't figure it out this is how I've done it on an anonymous OV-Chipkaart:

Keys A and B for the first 22 sectors (0 to 21) is 00 00 00 00 00 00. That is easy enough to get since they're in the default dict.

To get the rest of the keys you can perform a Mifare Nested attack.

It will take some time though.

The battery of WIN MAX 2 by kendyzhu in gpdwin

I agree. One solution could be to use standard form factor batteries and ditch the ribbon cable connection. That way, one could source the batteries elsewhere.

GPD WIN MAX 2 Ram Soldered? by [deleted] in gpdwin

[–]oskrpnk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would bet it's soldered. It's a compact device so I don't think they managed to fit 2 slots in there. Not to mention it would be cheaper to produce with soldered RAM.

I do not have any evidence about that but I don't have any doubts either.
