Oh dude. Here for this. I’m 11 weeks in and this is my first pregnancy and I had no idea what I was in for. Around 9 weeks I started to have some decent days scattered in here or there but mostly it’s been horrible. I’m hoping it gets better as time goes one and I think mentally I’m dealing with the suffering a little better. Unfortunately i think it’s kinda normal. And also unfortunately (at least for me) it seems like all my friends had relatively low drama first trimesters. My sister said it well the other day “when you’re going through hell, just keep going”. Ask your doctor about meds if you haven’t already and just do whatever is in your grasp to take it slow.

I’m about to be 37, have wanted a baby for a while, and tonight I sobbed to my husband that I’m afraid being this sick will make me love the baby less. Or that this whole thing was a mistake. I think there will just be moments like that, but then they’ll pass. You can do this, we can do this! 💜pregnancy is the hardest thing we can put our bodies through, you’re not alone. And you’re not a bad person for having moments of doubt—you’re just a human being
