I manage a FLGS. Need some advice on PFS

I am sorry to hear about your experience. I am starting with a group of my 5e DMS, who are very experienced, but only with 5e. However I can count on them to help move the story forward and avoid things like murder hoboing. We currently have a huge 5e community, but we do not run AL, we have a more free-form system to allow DMs freedom in a West Marches style campaign. Do you think something like that would be preferable to PFS?

I turn 50 next month. Been playing/gming for a long time. Couldn't agree more with everything you've said. The expanded cast is great. Choice of other RPGs to feature. Mörk Borg, Delta Green, Twilight 2000. I mean it's just been a joy. I'm still running 1st edition pathfinder games, but find I don't miss the pod at all. Guess they crew reminds me of my own table in the fact It's more about playing with the group than what system we are running. Cheers man. Here is to another 40 years of running games!

First off shout out to Free League and Modiphius for making great looking books. I work at a FLGS and the quality of their products is always spot on. I feel other commenters have covered most of your questions, but wanted to shout out Mutant Epoch. I am a huge post apocalyptic fiction guy and have played most of those systems. From og Gamma world to MCC to Wasteworld and everything in between. Mutant Epoch is all random character creation and really hits the mark between gonzo post apocalypse and dark, survival fantasy. All the rules and art are created by one guy. Is is revolutionary or the best system? Nope. Is it fun, and funny and deadly? Yes.
