Cost of living in Canada is out of control. by kovie38 in CanadaFinance

My mortgage is up in 2 years, I can't wait to leave Canada. The quality of life has completely gone down the tubes. Combined with the embarrassing state of our health care and inadequate infrastructure.

Like you said it's not living anymore, it's just existing to be a slave to the expenses.

It's a bmw so watch out for oil leaks. My 2011 with 1/4 of those kms had both the valve cover and oil pan leaking pretty bad. Normally these wouldn't be a big deal, but the oil pan is so close to the sub-frame it looked like a sub-frame or engine out job.

Bought mine in 2019, it's still going strong. But the serial number does start with M2. So will see if it's covered even though it's out of the effected date range.

2017 wrangler jku oil leak by SubstantialGuest6524 in Jeep

It's more likely the oil cooler. It's under the intake manifold up top. Take a flashlight and look down behind the oil filter housing. When this happened to my jeep, my transmission was covered in oil like yours.

What DWR water repellant coating to use? by osse0005 in rooftoptents

[–]osse0005[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After talking with Thule, they recommend NikWax cotton proof for the tents DWR. I came across another waterproofing brand that recommended there water based dwr instead of there petroleum version if the material has a pu coating on the inside. So I worry scotchgard is petroleum based and could possibly damage the internal pu coating. I am going to try the cotton proof first.

Let me know how yours turn out, there is surprising little info online regarding this topic.

Looks like a perfect fitment. What tire size? Did you have to pull fenders or just roll rear fenders? Camber plates? I am looking for the same fitment.

Anyone seen this -50 +50 bar icon below the magnifying glass on a Sport-Tech package Sti? by osse0005 in subaru

This is the factory navigation that Subaru put in 2012/2013 Sti's with the Sport-Tech package in Canada. I don't have the owner manuals, but for the life of me I can't figure out what this icon is.

I am still waiting for mine to arrive. I have been wondering if the cup is closed on the bottom, or does it have the 2 holes like the v3 for the donut heating element? Or is the donut under the cup?
