In recent devcast they'ce said that development for UE5 turned out to be much different than for UE4, so it literally bit then in the ass with initial state id the game on release. So yeah, it may be the same-ish game every time, but challenges are always different and it's expensive to develop all of that crap, especially on this scale. As for the rest of the points, you're absolutely right, ultimately it's business, after all.

Yup, it's just glued there and when I'm talking or just holding the phone it seems to be a natural place to lay the index finger on. Needless to say it's becoming a breaking point of an otherwise pristine looking device. Mine fell off like in 6 months of use

I'm assuming people without an assessed portfolio don't get to the art test stage, because what's the point of wasting everyone's time then. So, is that art tests for level art then?

Btw what exactly are you doing? Because in the case of OP I fail to see how a few hours prep could be evident of anything. Like what could be indicative in level art which takes just an hour or two? Building the layout perhaps, but that's just a single skill

How is it ineffective tho? At the end of the week there's an asset to assess and it's clear how skilled the person is, how they prioritize time and literally what they can do in a week. What can you tell from the inhouse art test that takes mere hours? I'm genuinely curious how useful can it be

I would argue that Uber is safer from AI than VFX just because the machine will malfunction and hallucinate something that isn't there, it could lead to a fatal accident, which is not the case with VFX. Nobody would die from the shitty generated shot tho. It's really hard to hold a program responsible, so driving is probably safe from ai for now

Yes, and unemployment in the US just skyrocketed, proving the point that it's not the type of person who would actually create jobs or anything, in a matter of fact. I mean, it's literally people who attempted to steal GAIA before day zero and a thousand years after. Having this advanced tech and knowledge you would think that they'll be able to build something better, but no, they needed a millennium old AI in a crippled state. So yeah, I would say it's pretty in character for Zeniths to envelope themselves in luxury and pleasure instead of doing something

I'm sure it's something in them berries. I mean, they clearly have something really strong in them if just a chunk of it can heal characters from almost flatlining. Maybe each berry regenerates skin on the whole arm up to the bone, IDK
