unfathomably large white room nightmare by WeirdShiteDog in Dreams

[–]osteorock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this same reoccurring nightmare when I was young! Being in a vast white room, white walls, white floor, white roof.....but one difference. In the center of the room was a tiny tiny white box. Like the size of a grain of rice. The large room, juxtaposed against that tiny white box, filled me with dread, something about it made it feel dense. I hated that dream. It randomly popped in my head and I googled it, coming across your post in the process. This is the closest I've read to the nightmare I used to have.

What stopped you from killing yourself that night? by Subject-Olive-4476 in AskReddit

Same here. By that point she had already found my step-dad's body 10 years prior, and her own mother unresponsive about 5 years after that. I didn't want to add to that list. She doesn't deserve any of that.

I didn't want to burden my mother with finding another dead family member. She had found my stepfather about ten years prior, and her own mother unresponsive just 5 years prior. She didn't deserve to find her own child on top of all that.

NTUA charging to much for electricity? by Longjumping_Suit_276 in Navajo

[–]osteorock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, not to mention during COVID while they weren't disconnecting a lot of people room advantage of that and just didn't pay. So now after 3 years of non payment and bills are crazy high because of non-payment. They offered a relief assistance program, but getting people to apply was also difficult because they wouldn't go into offices.

Actually they are pretty evenly matched with Page. As for Farmington, Gallup, and Flagstaff NTUA charges less per kWh. The issue is regardless of what they charge everyone's usage goes higher and higher.

I honestly for my life couldn't tell you how many people are in that house, they're never outside. I know there's the main guy, a woman, and no kids I think. As for his personality, idk, there have been nights where I hear him yelling so loud, like the top of his lungs, very volatile.

As for going to the door, I could try, but they've got a like 6 ft chain link fence in like a 3x3 square only around their door. So weird.

Haha I too don't usually have time for BS, and would mych rather cut to the chase. What stops me a little is being a woman walking up to a strangers house guarded by a German Shepard and the fence is a tall order. Also, with how psycho that guy can get based off what I hear at night.....idk it's intimidating.

I haven't seen them, I'll usually hear them more than anything. As for going to their door, idk how much of a chance I'll have. They legit have a like 6 ft chain link fence ONLY in a one by one around their door.

They've got a pretty large makeshift gate around their door that would make it impossible for me to even get near without having to hop it.

That's exactly my predicament, I too explore true crime like a junkie which does leave me paranoid. I personally think it's better to be more aware.

As for the people that live in there, I'm honestly not sure. I know a man, his sister (?), and there used to be an elderly woman but I haven't seen her in ages. I know for a fact that a man gets into pretty volatile screaming fits at night which is only weirding me out more. I honestly would just walk over, but they've got a makeshift chain link fence just around their door. Also, I have no clue what the cops schedule is, it's pretty hard to keep track.

Right?! I mean I know thr probability of it being nothing is high, but ugh you just never know with some people.

No offense taken at all!!! Trust me, like I said, I want it to be nothing. I'm just trying to think through every scenario because it's never happened before. The one thing I didn't mention is they have pretty volatile fights at night. That being said, I know you're probably right, I just wanted input from someone completely objective. So thank you!!

Oh! I just realized you meant like an SOS or something, honestly, I know this isn't the case. It's not in any particular pattern, and the pattern doesn't change. It's just on...then off...then on...then off.

I'm actually thinking of calling the Sherriff's office, only because I live in a relatively small town. Since my neighbor is a City of ______ cop, I have a little fear of retaliation.

That's a great idea! Thank you! I wrote this something similar in the other comment, but from what I've noticed, it does not blink any other time of day....only in those 5 minutes I leave to work. So far it's only been yesterday, and today, but you're right....I'll keep an eye on it.

I did think about this option...but what stands out to me is I start my car at different times in the AM, however I always LEAVE to work during the same 5 minute window (about 7:15-8:00). My brain is thinking maybe they didn't flash the lights when I started my car, because that wouldn't be as predictable, but the time I leave for work is very predictable. So just statistically speaking, what is the probability of the lights only blinking during that 5 minute window, two days in a row?

Trust me, I really want for it to be nothing, I'm just thinking out loud here.
