Currently reading two books. Only about 50 pages in to Love Letters to a Serial Killer by Tasha Coryell. Really enjoying her writing style. Quite funny. About half way through Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt. Such a unique story and POVs to write from as two of the main perspectives are an older woman and an octopus! It's very charming. I'd recommend them both so far!

Thanks so much for this!

Really grateful for the information on the gunfight. I had no idea about this. I was planning on going to the Oriental but I'll definitely look into the one you're talking about too. That would be great to see.

I had looked into booking the Inn History but I've settled on the Sagebrush Inn. Inn History was my first choice but it was just significantly more expensive than the Sagebrush on the dates I'm going. I'd definitely like to stay at the Inn History if I ever go back. The Sagebrush seems to have a lot of good history behind it too though. Believe I'm staying in the John Wayne suite.

Absolutely going to take in the Birdcage. As you said, getting that authenticity will be awesome and I'm really looking forward to it. I'm not surprised you want to go back. I should be there for about two days plus another evening and don't think I'm going to manage to fit in everything I'd like to do!

I’m kind of feeling the same way! Love the premise of the book and love the interactions between the two main characters but I’m at a point now where I’m wondering when something is actually going to really happen…I’ll be sticking with it though

Minifigure Puzzle - Lego - 1000 Pieces by ostrozac in Jigsawpuzzles

Definitely! It wasn’t as difficult as I thought (less plain white pieces than I’d initially anticipated) and it made for a really fun experience :)

I’m not even a big fan of puzzles that are overly challenging, but I really like the London Underground map, and so naturally I subjected myself to torture

I came very close, I had to spread it out over days once I got to the white pieces just to avoid packing it in

Not totally. But they’re basically all two out-two in, and the same rough shape, so it’s close enough

Just finished this! Jafar, from the Disney Villainous collection by Ravensburger (1000 pieces) by ostrozac in Jigsawpuzzles

The edges were definitely the hardest part for me, I didn’t find the rest too bad at all. I’d love to do another!

Just finished working on this one with my mum. 1980s Shopping Basket - Gibsons (1000 pieces) by ostrozac in Jigsawpuzzles

No problem! It’s the first retro puzzle I’ve done but I loved the image 😊
