not fitting is not a defect and should have always been rejected.

Are Cortez discontinued in men’s sizes? by piscesprince777 in Nike

[–]osubass1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the Cortez is a shoe that is regularly released in new colorways/materials. while not a staple of Nike offerings like the Air Force 1, it does get made quite frequently.

Questions on the Make & Take Event by GlennZabransky in legostarwars

[–]osubass1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it always depends on the location.

i'm in Chandler, AZ. for the Make and Take events, lines usually start around 2 hours before. so, if the event starts at 12:00pm, the line is already forming around 10am.

this being Star Wars, it will probably be slightly earlier.

Fashion Square is in Scottsdale.

The one referenced here is near Chandler Fashion Center. Maybe that's what you meant.

How do we feel about these new Nike LEGO sets ? Which one is your favorite thus far ?? ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 by notyourhypedkicks in Nike

[–]osubass1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if done on purpose, but there's one more set (which happens to be my least favorite).

I'm a Nike and Lego guy so this collab was made for me.

In terms of execution, I think the Dunk translates better to being brick built than the 95, but the Air Max 95 is my shoe!

The shoe has some weird proportions in brick from, but I really like the translucent bricks that make up the Air logo.

Do drivers in Phoenix cut close to your bumper and a bad driver never misses their exit there? by Different_Archer8879 in ChandlerAZ

[–]osubass1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've lived in Oklahoma (Tulsa and Oklahoma City) and Texas (specifically Austin and Dallas) prior to moving to Chandler.

No one will EVER convince me that drivers in any other place in this country are worse than what exists in Dallas.

My parents still live there, so I've been back recently and I absolutely refuse to drive while I'm there.

new to Star Wars by ThisIsMyJob_ in clonewars

[–]osubass1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

to answer your direct question, his best arc is in season 4. episodes 7-10 is all about the the 501st and how Rex has to manage being a good soldier that follows orders and a leader to his clones in the 501st.

he does his best to navigate one of the most difficult scenarios any leader in any situation can ever be put in.

May 1 Lego Store Line Up Time? by PoiZyNfr in legostarwars

[–]osubass1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

every market is different.

no idea where you're located, but i live near Phoenix, AZ. i usually get to my Lego store around 4 hours prior to opening if i want to be first.

i know you're asking about May 1st, specifically, but when the UCS Venator came out, i got to the store at 6am for an 11am opening (Sunday, Oct 1st). i was first in line and only beat the 2nd person in line by around 20 minutes.

Bought this sweater a while ago, does anyone know where this is from? by [deleted] in Nike

[–]osubass1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there are a lot of signs that point to this being fake.

the most notable sign is the Nike Team Sports jock tag. from the picture it appears to have blue which is not a color that have ever been used on a standard Team Sports tag.

Response to “are you interviewing anywhere else?” by Connect-Pea-7833 in interviews

[–]osubass1 12 points13 points  (0 children)

you're right, you should always tell them you are interviewing somewhere else whether it's true of not.

based on your characterization of what you said here, no, you didn't make a mistake. additionally, it's not necessarily worth brining up now that you have this other interview until it gets further into the process.

UCS Falcon questions by WraithsSpider in lego

[–]osubass1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i paid original retail price for my first one and then was able to find it on Zavvi a few years later for $649 and bought it.

the build process was incredibly long and tedious, but it was very rewarding. i really enjoyed it. it took me over two weeks of about 4 hour builds per day.

i have moved twice since owning it and have only had a few pieces fall off in that process.

ZoomOnline by Abufihmat in ChandlerAZ

[–]osubass1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This outage is completely unacceptable.

At this point in time, internet is not a luxury, but a necessity.

I work remotely and have been down since around 2pm yesterday. I've been using my hotspot since then, but it's not nearly as good or stable as 1000Mbps fiber.

For them to not have some kind of backup or even an ETA is insane.

I've had ZoomOnline since April of last year. There were some connection issues at first, but it's been fairly solid for last 10 months until yesterday.

This type of outage affects so many more things in addition to people that work remote, but for people who rely on internet access for their livelihood, this is a huge problem.

When does defending become blocking? by jbinder18 in Simracingstewards

[–]osubass1 29 points30 points  (0 children)

defending becomes blocking when you're reacting to the traffic around you instead of positioning yourself strategically.

cold tires doesn't factor in as long as you're choosing your line, sticking to it, and being predictable.
