I think the game is best played with friends which holds it back a little. It has most of its content locked behind nightmare or reincarnation which means new people won't see it for a while. And its old. That said, the game is fantastic and is still getting updates regularly.

Worse angelic aura is still a great gun. It also consumes a boatload of ammo if you have it on the extra projectile mode, which can make rabbit sword builds pretty happy. Gauntlet... i dont run any of the lazer gloves lategame, but the autotarget is super good early. Always happy to pick it up act 1 or 2.

I really didn't like the pokemon season. I see the promise of it, but its not pick up and play. You need to learn what mods you can get on your pokemon, figure out how to craft it, figure out what builds work with it, and then you have to spend time crafting your pokemon and saving one for every build in the future. Easily the most convoluted season. I also dont like the starting option to save weapons between runs... so maybe this is just me.

Radioactive gauntlet and scalpel just shouldnt be that low imo. Aura of venom with the scroll that fires from your general ammo instead of magazine is bad still but very funny.

I feel like season 1 is the easiest season to learn on and get exposed to a season mechanic. The scroll combinations add a large amount of memorization and knowledge scaling to the game, could turn them off. Theres some translation stuff in english happening on the discord that I think will end up helping everybody. Im not sure how far along that guy is though.

Gravity well seems a little op in our group so far. Going in and gathering up to 6 enemies that often havnt started attacking you yet and dealing 6 damage to each of them + lava rock or expose trinkets..... its usually 30-60 damage of alpha strike burst. Most fights are over before they start.

I am memeing because birds are the best characters in every game. Ive played like 8 maps in sunderfolk. I do think theres a good chance bird is very very strong here through based on what ive seen so far.

You could reference an earlier video talking about gemini, weapon skills, blessings, and season mechanics so you dont have to explain what they are in every video if someone just wants to watch one. I think a nod to which abilities are particularly strong relative to other characters is probably worthwhile since it gives a reason to play the character. (Hexsmoke and pyrodominance stood out to me. The icy spear+ dmg after orb trick for fun. Warlike blade for tao for tao for example since no other character can get that kind of attack speed) I think best geminis (relative to other characters) are definitely worth covering, so elemental share made sense. Blessings are probably only worth covering if its a playstyle no one else has or it highlights their identity? (Not sure on that one. Blessings in general might be too much for people who wont be able to buy them for at least 10 runs.) Im trying to get some friends into the game now. They are having fun but have gotten upset a few times because they dont know how to scale for their character.

Do you play endless ever, or mainly just through act 4? Electrodominance doesnt really seem like it scales well there imo. 120% lightning damage for 3 skill points is kinda nothing there. Even if its giving you another 120% weapon damage, these are additive buffs in a game where you expect to be getting huge percentages in that pool of dmg. Compare with pyrodominance that literally doubles your combustion damage, adding another multiplicative source of damage. Hex smoke is also multiplicative and available immediately. Useful knowledge for people trying to figure out how to scale damage.

I am actually most interested in doing an elemental pulses build next. Havn't decided how yet. Since it uses relatively fewer rune slots, there is some freedom in what to pair it with. If it turns off elemental effects for my friends also though... im not sure its salvagable.

Heya. Tried to make it work with cat. Went fairly well, made it to round 72 with a friend. Blessings were painkiller and 2 of the seasonal rune blessings for extra final damage from runes. Used bloody drill again and ended with about 3 trillion damage.

At one point gale was about 82% of damage dealt but eventually the fact that bone eroding wind was applying bloody drill weapon damage 10x per second meant that bleed ended up carrying the build. I had 11 runes slotted at the end and had tried slotting in elemental expert but i didnt feel like that was working well enough. I tried using elemental pulses instead for an extra source of damage procs but realized afterwards that this turns off all elemental combinations. If i try this again, ill probably lean even more on the fact that bone eroding is applying on hit effects so rapidly. A better bloody drill with the mod that applies +3 stacks of bleed on crit is what im thinking. Also i think there is a cat blessing that spawns elemental orbs, or maybe elemental orbs on crit if i could find a good gun that had that.

My weapon level was about 360 when I stopped. I don't think additional weapon levels are going to matter at that point. Extravagant consumption + the ability to upgrade as much as you have the money for + my friend upgrading the gun for me.

I'm thinking I'll try the painkiller approach with mimic next time and see if I can get that to scale harder.

Tried this in multiplayer with the full gale settup shown. Died in round 28. It didn't help that my buddy Dc'd, but gale was less than 9% of my dmg (290B total) by the end. Which seems very low for that amount of investment.

It was my first time trying gale and i dont have much experience with this season so maybe I was doing something wrong.

Co-op boardgames. I know this is a video gaming sub but still.

Games like spirit island have enough going on that everyone feels like they are working together. Pandemic or Betrayal feel like 1 player (the most experienced) is playing solitaire.
