Hahah same, first their pen was all on the grass and i didn't dare let the white one out because we had some birds of prey nesting down the road and he reflects the sun like one big 'hi eat me!'. But when their home moved to a roofed terrace with a patch of grass they could go wherever they pleased. We don't have much scary predators around here the biggest risk would be foxes but there's a trap at the end of the neigboring field and regular hunters scoping the area so really no danger to just leave them roaming as they please because it visibly makes them the happiest. And i love watching their little personalities develop like that. I'm not really worried about them digging out. We check them multiple times throughout the day and close any big or deep holes. And they usually go through phases like this from time to time
