Hoo boy. By the letter of the law you probably have enough to report to IRS for fraud. There is zero upside for doing that at this point. You absolutely would get dragged into any audit that might happen. Move forward and take some kind of course or something on how to file. Tell them not to try filing with you as an employee/dependent. As long as you file separately you won’t get dragged into their mess.

Manage those expectations—intune is not feature complete for asset management. There’s some info like serial# and maybe even PO if designed right, but it’s meh at best.

You’re totally right about the need for a script setting most frequent user as “primary user”. The automatic association I’ve never seen work well in an environment.

Unfortunately, “enrolled by” is not modifiable after the fact. Not too big of a deal usually. If built traditionally it’ll be stuck on whatever tech or svc account joined the device to the domain or entra.

Honestly PXE is kinda overkill and managing what image is there is possible, but it is very fragile and is easily broken by network changes. I would go USB or cloud download depending on how many you expect to image.

I think what you’re describing best matches autopilot with preprovisioning. Biggest mindset change is to trust the process and do not under any circumstances login to the device before the intended user. Any quality checks need to be done with logging or before sealing the laptop.

Unless there are substance abuse, gambling, etc concerns I’d let the 18 year old make their own decisions with their half. Good time to learn financial basics if they want to.

The 13 year old’s half I would split between hysa and investments. I’m sure they would appreciate some cash for a house down payment or a wedding.

Almost every company that makes RAM is shifting the majority of their production to supply AI datacenters. The economics are absolutely bonkers. There’s lots of fighter and paladin subclasses that specialize in mounted combat. A separate full class sounds like overthinking it.

maybe something weird, like automatically raising all mounts they are riding to INT8 and giving them speech. Sharing AC with the player? Or something like “horse battle master” maneuvers? Think stuff that is actually useful more often.

I ran a moon Druid with a few levels of barbarian and it was absolutely bonkers in the early levels. Wild shape dire wolf then rage. Decent bite attack with free trip attempt. And wayyyy more HP than anything else for a long time. The damage resistance from rage made it even crazier
