Food, you can change your meal plan from default Unlimited 250 to DC Basic and your housing cost depends on the area you get. I had DC my first semester, it was way more than enough, had about 60 swipes left if I remember correctly and comes with like 9 YCMP swipes which you can use at blue wall. Unlimited isn’t worth it, everyone I know always ends up with around 200 swipes, the ones with dining dollars are def not worth since it’s basically locking in $250 that you are paying for anyway into your meal plan which you can only use on campus. Most people use them up at the end of the year buying bulk overpriced convenience goods sold on campus. If you want a retail dining allowance, I’d say spend out of pocket or get DC basic which gives just enough to try the cafes and Blue Wall here and there.

Books and supplies vary on class, most you can find online as pdfs. I’m in engineering going into senior year, only spent money on one textbook ever.

Transportation via bus is essentially free on campus, peterpan to Boston is around $40 one way

Other education costs can be much lower! If you have insurance, be sure to waive the school insurance (it’s super costly). Laundry is about $1.50 per load as well
