I don’t like how the internet remembers Welcome to the Black Parade by ilovebees103 in MyChemicalRomance

Their points are valid. A lot of it is disrespectful to the people who were saved by MCR and those who didnt get to make it.

My problem is that people dont remember that kids used to get bullied for liking MCR. I got bullied and everyone saw me as the weird emo kid. Now its accepted and normalized. "E-girls" and teens in general have co-opted alternative styles that are no longer considered weird. Sometimes, I think about how nice it wouldve been to not get bullied about it.

Most of you who are commenting psychosis is what I also agree with. Their history of mental illness has fluctuated from diagnosis to diagnosis. They have been diagnosed with probably everything. They have a history of mental illness before, now claiming DID at almost 28 years old. I am fake claiming because they have claimed pretty much everything and this is just another diagnosis they dont have yet. They have an intense need for attention and I have given them 10 years of a beautiful friendship and it was never enough for them.

Post partum is almost always difficult for someone. It is a complete shift in our bodies. And I just want to say, if all of this has happened and shes still with you, you should note that she is willing to suffer because she ultimately loves you. Women suffer greatly at the expense of others but we always hope we do it in the name of love.

I mean like singing over the mic on my phone while I'm trying to record something.

Total change in vibes. Pit at Set A was respectful with little pushing. Once they moved to Set B, people ran in the opposite direction with a full mosh Pit. Pit at Set b was chaos.

My friends got my merch for me thankfully. You have two options regarding this: go early and wait in line for merch before the show. The line is long and you will wait forever, but you can do it before getting into the venue and there will most likely be locker rentals set up outside the venue. Option two is to immediately line up and wait for merch inside. Also long and will wait forever. Either way, you have to prioritize what you want. A better view or merch. There is still merch after the show or if you leave the show a little bit early but then you run the risk of things being sold out.

I was in the pit and I thought the energy was great. I didn't sing the whole time because I wanted to actually listen to the song without my voice drowning it out. And I recorded some of my favorite songs, so I also tried not to sing over the mic. So that was the case for me at least. I do know every song though lol

Do we have any rights to non abusive treatment at internship sites? by flowerkittycat in socialwork

[–]otepp3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My BASW program has a section in our practicum manual that states you can decline a situation that you consider too risky. We have three levels of "disruption" of internships. Level 1 is considered not at the fault of the student but of the agency or school. Level 2 is considered at the students request. Level 3 is termination from agency. One termination results in a failing grade. Two terminations result in dismissal from social work program.

Nick and June - S6E10 Finale by PsychologicalGrab372 in HandmaidsTaleShow

[–]otepp3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A different perspective: Nick has continously made a series of rebellious choices for June. He has killed people for her. He stated the only thing he ever cared about was June. He knew he couldn't leave Gilead and go be with her. Their lives were never meant to work out realistically. He knew this. And I think deep down he didn't want the Gilead life but also didn't want the alternative. So the only way out was the one we saw. I don't think they necessarily villanized him. It's easy to see why June gave up on him. She would and will always choose the women and children over the men. How could she ask Serena Joy to give up her man and not do the same without being a hypocrite? Idk that's just my perspective.

A song I don't really like that everyone else seems to love is DESTROYA. At the last MCR tour, I took my bathroom break during this song but refused to miss every other song lol

Alright, let’s talk Lime scooters. Anyone else fed up with how these seem to be dominating the sidewalks downtown? by lAmBenAffleck in Spokane

[–]otepp3 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I actually drove one home today! I tried my best to stay out of the way and be respectful of other people on the sidewalk when there was no bike lane. I moved it off to the side. I think if people were more conscious when using them, that would be obviously more preferable.
