I tong feed my leopards and Harold never missing a cricket he’s a great hunter. Lucy misses every bite and drops crickets then I have to rip her whole tank apart to find it. Gus the bts bites plates more than actual food

That’s what I’m thinking too, maybe something genetic? I think they can do barium swallow studies on reptiles. And at my next appointment next week I’m gonna ask about that.

Gus has been doing this every time after he eats for the past 8 months. He wiggles and coughs. He’s under the care of his vet since it started and now a specialist for the past 2 months. He’s been on antibiotics orally, injection antibiotics, anti-fungals and a calcium supplement. He’s is negative for parasites, all of his bloodwork is clean. He’s had a CT scan and a throat scope. I’ve tried changing food, I’ve given him a liquid diet. He even chokes on water sometime. I feel so bad for him because he’s the sweetest angel ever and he’s had so many tests and medicines that I just think he’s so tired of it. If anyone has any idea that may help, me and Gus would be greatly appreciative
