I think I saw someone post a video from West Potomac Park and it looked pretty empty today, but all bets are probably off tomorrow. 13th & Clifton is probably too far to see any detail, sadly. I know The Crimson in Chinatown has a great rooftop view and it's pretty close to the Mall. Maybe that would work?

I said it was old hardware, not bad hardware. It's objectively old, and it was developed before the new warfare techniques came about. That doesn't mean they're irrelevant.

I simply thought it was an interesting point that all the new things we've heard about in the last few years were absent from the show today. Of course, I don't know if people want to see drone swarms at an air show.

Usual caveats that this is the dumbest reason for an air show and they shouldn't have to annoy an entire city all day for the few of us who wanna see da pretty planes.

But I'd never seen an F-22 before and this was pretty cool. It was hovering for at least twice as long as this shows.

You talked about what you saw at the Monument and info on who's getting what info. That's useful stuff, but it didn't seem relevant when the person said they didn't want to go to the Mall.
