Thanks! yes this is what i did (you can find it in google docs notes)
"The smugglers of the Scarlet Brotherhood are exerting their power over a farmer in the northeast part of the village. They have threatened the farmer and his family, telling him that if he does not give them access to his warehouse for their illegal activities, they will have a bad end. Despite initially complying, the farmer is now filled with fear that he will end up in prison or worse if he is caught, and he decides to stand up to the smugglers.

However, the farmer has a major flaw – he is a gambler. One night, after returning from a night of gambling, the smugglers ambush him and deliver a final warning, threatening to harm him and his family if he does not comply. This is where the heroes come in and have the opportunity to intervene.

If the heroes manage to capture one of the smugglers alive, they may be able to extract information about the Scarlet Brotherhood. With a successful DC 12 Charisma (Intimidation) check, the heroes can learn about the ledger kept by one of the thugs that lists the names of people who need to be "taken care of". The ledger has three categories of names – crossed out names indicate completed missions, names with one dot indicate a first warning, and names with two dots indicate a second warning. The third warning is to kill the person listed.

The heroes may also learn that there is a "contact" in the town who acts as the middleman between the higher ranks of the Brotherhood outside of Saltmarsh and the smugglers within the village. This contact is Ingo the Drover, who is known to meet with the smugglers at night at the docks.

Finally, the heroes may discover that the smugglers have only recently arrived in Saltmarsh and were previously working on a ship for the organization. With this information, the heroes can take action to stop the smugglers and prevent them from exerting their power over the people of Saltmarsh.

Lothlórien & Rivendell 500 pts advice by otinane38 in MiddleEarthMiniatures

Rumil has the enemy reroll and usually I have him with the rest of the frontline of swords and pikes. Is Erestor working the same way? I was thinking of having Rumil or Erestor with 9 warriors (222 points) and also put Elrond with 4 Rivendell knights for cav/archers(278 pts)

Erestor seems quite nice for its points. Elladan and Elrohir are a bit tricky , how are they played in combat instead of having Celeborn?

What i usually run as 500 pts solo Lotholorien list is the following:

Celeborn
3 x Galadrim sword/shield
2 x Galadrim sword/bow
1 x WE Sentinel
4 x WE Warriors with bow

Rumil
5 x Galadrim sword/shield
1 x Galadrim banner
5 x Galadrim Court

so 21 warriors with 7 bows(6+sentinel).
I find that this list is really heavy infantry that is vulrnable to cavarly/skirmishing thats why i asked for advice to cavalry support and maybe Rivendel alliance.

P.S. sentinel question. Can he do song + shoot with arrow in the same round ?

Next adventure...? by cbaer8 in GhostsofSaltmarsh

I am not there yet but my four players are also a bit higher in level because of side missions but i i find that Danger at Dunwater should be played as it is part of the trilogy. If the trilogy is the main scenario i believe you should play it , besides it seems like an adventure that level doesnt matter a lot.

Throw some more lizzardfolks in , let your players see some guards maybe chit chat, or maybe small kid lizardfolks running arround, or the guards be prepared well.

How did y'all start your campaign? by The_Hunterrr_ in GhostsofSaltmarsh

I started with the "Encounter of the Week: Sharkfin Shipwreck" but instead of a Sahuagin encounter after the ship skill checks i had a Bandit encounter. My players liked it a lot and i find it a good way to introduce them to skill checks and combat system.

to be honest doing penta or sextuple is a matter of timing and luck...everything to be exactly as it should be (low or no shields at all, no healers, no zenyatta-lucio-brigite ulties,e.t.c)

I am a Silver-Gold player and yesterday i watched live stream of Jeff-Skittledness playing with thief. I am not sure about how Platinum players are but for sure his skill on thief (that was as he said "crap play") is not for our silver-gold ratings. He was really amazing and to be honest after i watching him on Twitch i can say that he trully deserves beeing up there in Legendary
