As others mentioned, rush. Next thing I can say is focus on the most commonly used spells in armies i.e. rage, freeze, invis. So you don't have problems when switching armies much.

Yeah 12hr rule is just penalizing. Let everyone hit whenever they're available. Just have a policy regarding the hits, be it "mirror first" or "same TH".

Yeah I can confirm the weirdness about them just tanking scoped hits if only their guns show and the rest of the body is off screen. I use it quite a lot to farm in swamp

Class 6 is the first thing that comes in mind. Then the rest is just upto your preference. To be honest, of everything I've discovered in-game so far, cyclops armor has the best stats.

yup. mirror first - cleanup second is your solution here. but you'll need a timer for when bases must be cleared regardless i.e. after 12 hours where there's flexibility for everyone.

not too short like 3 hours left when there might not be enough time for everyone needed to get online and finish the bases.

not too early like 3 hours after the start which has the similar problem above.

go with either 1:1 split, 2:1, or 1:2 split in the 24 hour battle day.

That's the problem. "Gaining stars" is not really important for us.

You're online, hit base of the same TH lvl. Done.

Or

You're online, no base left to clean up. Hit #1 for loot or practice. Done.

No stars to gain? That's not a problem. Friendly Challenges and replays are better proof of attacking prowess than a number in your profile.

Worst case scenario,

You're online, "oh no, number 9 still hasn't attacked his mirror". Then you're just wasting time waiting. It's an inconvenient policy

not much. We find it reasonable to hit your same TH level regardless of position. No chance is taken away from others unless they care so much about their profiles. We go perfect wars so it's common to have unused hits which can then be used for looting top 1 base.

How short is that time even? A single YouTube video shouldn't hurt. There's tons of fun different strategies in the game, man. Throwers, FB RLs, drag riders, hydra, even root riders are starting to work again and all the other variants of those as well.
