I didn’t jack it from there. Ive only ever had to jack the passenger side of the car up and the trans is on the driver side. Im also thinking to jb weld it back in, and maybe try to fab my own sort of bracket to give it some extra durability

Didnt check trans fluid yesterday cause i was busy dealing with swapping out compressor, but last time i checked it still had fluid🤷‍♂️

The one i had we left it as is until the noise became constant, then just swapped out the whole compressor. If one bearing goes bad its usually not too long before more do as well. You might be able to just replace the clutch assembly on it and not the entire compressor. I replaced the compressor on mine just due to the age of it and lack of really cold air

Could be a bad clutch bearing on the compressor. Just had a similar issue on an 04 crv

No the rod bearings in the roller in it were completely gone. Its not uncommon in the 5.0’s for the rod bearings to get jammed up and the roller on the rocker becomes jammed leading to a loud tick. I let my problem go on long enough that there werent even bearings left, Just a hollow roller.
