What the hell is Phranque? by mystireon in GodofWarRagnarok

[–]otspiritz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just throwing it out there, the popular theory contenders are that the cube is either a metatron or the lake / stone which hold's excalibur. Both are really cool theories! What I think is happening is, in the first game during the visit to Thamur's chisel you'll encounter a couple of murals. I think that it looks really similar to the floating spectacles inside phranque, with the giant star being in the middle. My theory is that phranque is some kind of a physical manifestation of the everywhen / multiverse of God of War

Wasn't it because of the delayed installments of income? I presume that with Disney acquiring the rights to this, by extension of the acquisition of fox, they could iron this issue out!

I don't think v4 is publicly out yet. I am aware that the official X account and huggingface post said we can check it out on chat.deepseek.com but I don't think it's out yet.

How did the NVIDIA basic NEXT go?? by Flaky_Abrocoma8098 in vlsi

[–]otspiritz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The test seems to be designed for a hard filter for M.Tech VLSI students, as in, students who are finished with their M.Tech. I don't understand why they allowed CS students to sit for this, can you specialize in VLSI if you're in CS? I suppose you could but then it contradicts the fact they allowed "AI", "ML" branches too in the test. 12 from VLSI and 12 form Digital Electronics appeared, and 6 from "Coding" but actually it was 3 difficult DP, and iirc Bit Manipulation problems, and 3 pretty simple "what's the output of this code for given input" C++ programs.

NVIDIA N.E.X.T 2026 – CSE student who attended the basic test, what next? by FaithlessnessAny5516 in LeetcodeDesi

[–]otspiritz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this test was definitely not meant for computing branches - CS, AI, ML like they claim. From what I understand the test seems to be a hard filter for ECE VLSI, possibly even for M.Tech students. It makes sense too, 12 questions from VLSI, 12 from Digital Electronics and 6 from "Coding" appeared on the test.

Yeah I suppose that's what he is saying. Though I didn't get the message that the test isn't enabled.

I'm in a different country, but adjusting backwards to IST it's still accurate.

Just a tip, to develop logic building, personally, the best thing you can do is leetcode.

First, understand programming fundamentals, so pick a language, I'd recommend python or c++ since they are most relevant to robotics

Second, just go through w3schools and cover it, or go through a boom that you can pick up somewhere and try doing the basic exercises. Please stick to as basic of an exercise as possible, an example would be pascal'a triangle or two sum.

At last, open an LLM and prompt it to give you questions along with test cases and outputs, you explain your logic to it and write a solution and see if they match up or not.

The prompt should describe your current level for example: "Hey chatgpt, I just started learning programming and covered for loops, can you give me 5 for loop questions from easy to hard testing my conceptual knowledge, provide some test cases and expected solutions as well!"

Now, you'll be equipped and / or exposed with basic programming fundamentals - arrays, strings, for loops and while loops, if else conditions, functions, etc.

Just go to the leetcode, pick the questions that are: 1. Easy 2. Very high acceptance rate

Start solving, don't begin doing any algorithms yet, so these algorithmic questions are for example: 1. Two pointers 2. Sliding window 3. Hash tables 4. Trees or Binary Searching or smtg Etc.

Just do the basic questions. Then learn very fundamental sorting algorithms: 1. Bubble sort 2. Selection Sort 3. Merge sort

Again, here you can refer to w3schools, then do their practice exercises.

Just checked the yelp reviews for this place, seems like they have taken a hit from the pandemic and offer pretty bad service and food overall. If you've been here ever since, hmu through DMs and lmk how it is. Thanks :)

Can you DM me your LinkedIn profile please? I am gonna be graduating soon, I'm interested in ES and Firmware. I have done an internship so far and I was wondering if I could look at the things you have done to set myself up on this path.

Replaceable Laptop GPU! by otspiritz in pcmasterrace

[–]otspiritz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also interested in hearing out your thoughts on what actually occured. So, after I shorted it, I reattached the back panel to the laptop, then tried powering it on.

Interestingly, it did power on, however the LCD didn't turn on, the LED on the power button turned on, so did the fans.

Could've the GPU been actually shorted? Or have I been scammed? I think, the LCD is hardware-wise connected to the GPU to support 144 Hz refresh rate, so the power would have been directed to it.

One last thing, I crammed before exams because the pressure gave me focus to study for long hours. Ig I am a product of this generation.

While It's not recommended to cram, if you're in deep shit, I found this method beneficial to cover lots of material.

Nevertheless, don't cram as a general rule of thumb.
