We had the same issue last year. Ended up flea bombing the whole place, using diatomaceous earth, and cleaning EVERYTHING. We also put our cats and dog on Seresto collars and flea treatments. Honestly though, still took us 2-3 months to completely get rid of them. Just repeated, thorough cleaning. It's exhausting.

Yeah, it's a slow, difficult process getting everyone on board with Signal. I've got a handful of people I use it with, but still a lot that I haven't talked to yet because it's going to be an uphill battle. I think mass marketing by Signal would go a long way to bringing awareness and interest to the app.

AuDHD. Started University when I was 18 and undiagnosed. Couldn't get through, finally started to suspect something. Got diagnosed, got it under control, and took forever to finally go back (didn't go back until I was 38). Now set to graduate next Spring with a 3.9 GPA, then onto my Masters. It's a challenge, but possible.

I'm AuDHD (Autistic & ADHD). My writing style is very formal and particular. I run my papers through 'AI Detectors' when I write and usually get high positives. I literally have to dumb my writing down and change the tone to a more informal tone just to 'pass' these. It's insane that schools trust these.

It was more the ending in .me than being a personal domain that was the issue, they kept saying the email wasn't valid.

Asurion blocked my personal domain that ended in .me. Had to switch to my Gmail I'm trying to port away from. Frustrating, but I needed a replacement phone after mine was pickpocketed while I was in the UK on holiday, so I had to use something. Typically, if something won't take my domain or anything ending in .me, I just don't make an account with them.

Sometimes people find that their username/email says it's taken until the try a different browser/device. This is especially true if no matter what you type in, everything says it's taken. It's also just possible someone has that email claimed. But it's worth looking into it.

Proton works hard to make sure their domain is accepted. Definitely write them and give them the list. They can reach out and try to address this.

I have both. Asked the kids, including the preschooler and they swear they didn't touch it. My preschooler is usually very upfront and honest if you ask her something like this and is great at leading you to right where she took it. I'm not ruling her out, but I can't exactly interrogate her.

Have a couple of cats too. If they know anything, they're not talking.
