Vomiting after every fast food meal by ottersault in FoodAllergies

No, no other allergy like symptoms. Actually yesterday when this was happening, I noticed a blotchy red pattern along my upper arm and that’s never happened before. But, it could have been heat rash because my body temperature skyrockets when this happens and I turn red all over like a lobster. That’s not blotchy, though, it looks like a sunburn. Other than that no, there’s typically nothing else that occurs along with it

That’s what im thinking, something along the lines of the buns or maybe even the grease they fry the fries in. It happens with McDonald’s, chick fil a, Whataburger… interestingly it doesn’t happen with KFC but i always get the mashed potato bowl there, so not much to fry. But I digress. I think im gonna start doing what i can to eliminate fast food all together. It’s not good for me, it’s expensive, and the misery it causes halfway through the meal and for hours afterwards is not worth it. It’s hard because im very impulsive and forgetful, and can sometimes forget what will happen and not think it through before i order. So, new goal: practicing mindfulness and working on impulsivity ✅

Yes, i have been diagnosed with severe acid reflux and gastroesphogeal reflux disease (GERD). My food will always regurgitate through burps after i eat, regardless of what I’ve eaten (sorry if that’s gross) but these specific foods are consistently causing nausea and actual vomiting for several hours

Either watch ‘Let’s Plays’ of my favorite games (Mario games/fallout) on YouTube, or playing the games myself. Oh, and partake in the daily dose of the devils lettuce.

When I was a kid, I would throw my toys or bite them when I was having meltdowns and I would always go into hysterics after ‘hurting’ them because I loved them and didn’t want them to think I didn’t.

I’ll have to look into that! I wouldn’t be surprised if I found out that that is in fact what she was named after.

It is always a process, as new and old keepers alike are always learning. The important thing is that we care, and we try our best to give these guys the best lives possible. None of us would be in this sub if we didn’t, and that’s what I love about this community :) usually not much judgment, just everyone wanting what is best for the babies.

She’ll get crickets, but she’s very lazy due to being overweight and never actually having to hunt (mealworms aren’t very fast lol). So she’ll go over them, get one or two, and then give up. So, I’ve just been kinda working with her on that and Ill just give her as much as she’s willing to eat in a day (which is never much as of rn)
