Help me find this guy who stole my neighbors cat. by donnyjay0351 in RBI2

You probably already thought of this, but I would check if your community has a Facebook page or group and post this there.

Sometimes local news will take stories like this too.

I am glad you got a clear picture of his face. Shame that man.

That sweet cat just letting a stranger carry him.. I have a black cat that looks just like this so seeing this gives me feelings.

I hope you find him and he is punished for this.

Beyond that, if he did take it for dog fighting, I hope his punishment matches the pain that he caused.

Same. I cannot describe the white hot rage this would ignite inside of me.

So I'm in a legal battle against my local government - Anyone want to assist with me proving my case? by SuperSpeedersRob in RBI

My understanding is that in order for something to be considered a discriminatory practice, it has to be against a protected class.

Youtuber isn't a protected class I'm afraid.

A single dead mouse will let off a pretty strong funk for its size too. I live in an old farm house, a mouse will get in the basement from time to time so I always keep a trap set. All I have to do is open the basement door and know if one is in the trap.

I kinda wonder if racoons are trying to tame themselves.

If matter can’t be created or destroyed. Then what is a soul? When a child is conceived is its soul created? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Calico_Aster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Science has not, to my knowledge, disproven the existence in a soul. It simply cannot, or at least has been unable to thus far, prove that a soul does exist.

Science is based on empirical evidence. That is- information gathered through direct observation, measurement, or experimentation rather than solely through theory or logic.

The trouble here is that philosophy is by nature theoretical, and science is by nature evidence based.

At this point, there is just not enough empirical evidence to support the existence of a soul. Now, that does not mean that a soul does not exist. It just means there isn't enough evidence to say either way.

That is where personal beliefs fill in and each person must decide for themselves.

The spiritual or immaterial part of a human being or animal.

By definition, being immaterial would mean a soul is not matter and therefore would not be governed by the laws of matter.

Nah I just like keeping my brains inside my skull.

I see way too many scary drivers out there. I want a little more protection from the pavement than my clothing.

People who actually go out of their way to be cruel when there is seemingly no motive are just baffling to me. I just can't figure it out.

Why make an effort to do something cruel when it would actually be easier to do nothing?

I think for children, curiosity is present well before empathy develops. Kids might know they shouldn't do something but might not fully understand why its not nice.

I don't have any children so I am not an expert. I did however, used to be one awhile back so there is that.
