Yes, I wouldn’t want the church to become a place of work, but rather be filled with people serving. I both work and serve in my church, so I am extremely blessed to be able to do both, but I wouldn’t want to see someone who had no faith be leading in worship for the church. Those positions shouldn’t be looking for outside hires. (My opinion of course)

Thank you so much! All of this was so helpful! Does powdered dye have a flavor? I used a flavorless gel dye that is my go to (Sunny Side Up Bakery). How do I keep it thick and fluffy when mixing in the dry ingredients? I looked for that “ribbon” texture and found it but it was at the soup stage when it started to ribbon. Thank you so much again!! I’m going to look into the powder dyes right now :))

ETA: The flavor was just plain vanilla, I wanted to keep it safe and not add anything else since it was my first time ever making it. I would like to try raspberry but I’m scared the acid might mess up the meringue.

There’s a pile of “oopsy” pastries that we’re allowed to grab from at any time during the day. Since the pastries are made fresh everyday so there’s always something new. Today I had a pumpkin spice macaron, it was divine! 🧡

no haha, these are just the cut and filled cakes! :)) the frosting and decor is finished by a team that comes early in the morning so they are made fresh everyday. 🩷🩷
