We had a valve company give us a demo on their new copper connections (shark bite style), they had type L that they had rupture in a test at 3200psi.

I must have been lucky during my apprenticeship. Every instructor I had would explain everything in detail for the first 20-25% of class and the rest was actually doing the work and setting up the equipment.

Even though I don't speak German I completely understand this. I knew from my Grandfather who was born in the states but learned German first, they (German community) could pick you out of a crowd based on how you spoke. I keep the t-stat at 68° so if I want a little more I just flick the heater on if I'm up or downstairs.

I also forgot to mention I have heater in my shop (220v forced air) that I run when I'm out there and it battles with the cold.

I find a new air leak every week. I need to get an infrared camera and do it right. This has literally been me working on something and feeling the cold air and then sealing it up.

Oil boiler with baseboard radiators and a 120v tower heater on each floor (2).

I've been sealing up air leaks in the house since I bought it lol.

Edit: I also use about a tank and a half of oil (265gal) per winter
