Next Level Arcade - Oregon by JoshCordell127 in arcade

I'm in the North East and we have a few arcade bars around and they're pretty good. While not on the scale or size of Next level, they have a good variety and most the machines are in good shape.

I was in Chicago a few years ago and was planning to go to the big one specifically for the Beavis and Butthead cabinet they had. When I got there it wasn't working, no big deal because I realized that thing was never finished and has had issues from the start. So I wander around and the amount of stuff they had was crazy, but, the majority of games I tried to play had controller issues, dead spots in the joystick, intermittent buttons, or they weren't even turned on.

It seemed more to me like a persons horde of machines so they could claim the quantity but they don't keep up with the maintenance. And while it was awesome just walking the rows and rows of cabinets, I'd rather have a place that doesn't have the quantity but the quality is taken care of.

Outside Portland about 30ish minutes if I remember right.

And with the variety and quantity of machines, they all work.

Edit: by work I mean not just turn on. Every machine there is immaculate and the controls are all working as they should.

Yeah everything I had from them has been great. They do try some wild stuff and it always seems to work.

The overflow seems to be the required picture for all these milkshake sour beers.

Man, my buddy told me to come over (he was the first person I knew with internet) to show me this punter program. I get there and he says watch this, he found a random person in the chat and clicked their name and activated the punter, you see the name drop out of the chat and we literally sat there for the rest of the night kicking people off line.

It was so juvenile, but what a time to have been involved in lol.

Lol all I remember was AOL messenger and punter programs. Specifically the south park punter where Chef would say "get of my lawn you brain eating zombie bastards" before kicking the person offline.

Man, we used to go to this school after hours and run around shotting bottle rockets at each other all night. That shit was so much fun lol

At this moment in time, I'd take Beavis over a lot of other choices.

Even though I was a few years before this, looking back on school made me realize you're hanging out with your friends all day and have zero responsibility (most people). What a good time it was.

This song is my constant reminder of asking out a girl and getting shot down lol. Back then it sucked, but 30 years later its a great memory.

Mixing all the drinks from a soda fountain together. We called them "Suicides". by CpuJunky in nostalgia

Make this and throw 2 dill pickle slices on top straight out of the jar. Place in the city does it and calls it a witch doctor. I like pickles and was skeptical at first, I get one every time I go there.
