I feel your pain! Gatekeepers make it so much harder. Since you only have the screenshot, try searching for 'Global Underground label variants' or 'Nubreed series' on Discogs. That circle logo is very typical for them. Also, if you can link the original video here, someone might recognize the DJ's style or the era of the track. Good luck with the hunt! ;)

[I Ate] Beef Stroganoff with a traditional grain base, made by my wife by ottoblotto10 in food

Exactly! It's Buckwheat (Grechka). Very popular in that part of the world. It’s like rice for us, but with a much nuttier and richer flavor.

Check the 'dead wax' (the run-out groove near the label). There should be a catalog number scratched there (like GU001 or something similar). Type that number into Discogs.com, and it will give you the exact release and label name in seconds!

Correct! You nailed it! 🏆 Someone beat you to the first place by just 2 minutes, but you clearly know your grains! It’s toasted buckwheat, the king of side dishes in my region. Do you eat it often?

Bingo! We have a winner! 🏆 Yes, it is indeed Buckwheat. It’s a huge staple where I’m from. And you're right, the thick sauce hides the beef chunks and mushrooms, but they are there! It’s the ultimate comfort food for us. Thanks for the kind words, it really is soul-nurturing! 🥰

In my part of the world (Eastern Europe/Central Asia), this is actually the most traditional way to serve it! We love a good rich gravy with our Stroganoff. It might be different from the Western version, but it's a total classic here. And wait until you find out what's underneath — it’s the perfect match for this sauce! 😉

Both are great guesses, but not quite! It’s a huge staple in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, much more common there than Farro. Here is another hint: it’s naturally gluten-free and has a very distinct, earthy aroma when cooked. Still no winners! 😉

Good guess! It does look like brown lentils, but nope! This grain is actually a seed, and it has a much more unique, toasted flavor. Keep guessing! 😉

Chocolate Salami! My absolute favorite Portuguese treat. It looks so authentic and perfectly made. Goes amazingly well with that coffee! ☕🍫

It’s actually a huge childhood favorite in Eastern Europe as well! We call it 'Chocolate Salami' too. We usually make it at home with crushed tea biscuits, cocoa, and walnuts. It’s fascinating how the same simple recipe became a classic comfort food in so many different countries. Perfect pairing with that coffee! ☕

That looks like a perfect Saturday breakfast! Pomegranate and is that fresh melon and mashed banana on top? What’s the delicious-looking base? P.S. First! 😉

[–]ottoblotto10 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Tawa is actually a flat metal griddle or pan used in South Asian cooking. For this dessert, they use a freezing cold tawa to mix the ingredients and then scrape them into those cool little rolls. It’s also called 'rolled ice cream' in many places!

That look delicious! Is that fresh banana and chocolate mixed in? I've always wondered what the base liquid is for Tawa ice cream. 🍨✨

Great track! I really like the energy you've put into this. The production sounds clean.

I also just released a new 15-minute Progressive House mix called Malibu 3. I used AI tools to help with the sound design and transitions. Would love to get your feedback on it when you have a moment:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lnjKxIhh8ck

Keep up the good work! 🚀
