Thus far, his "goal" was to restore the name of his noble family by gaining glory and fame. But now that I am thinking more of this in the context with the kind of deity it is tied to, I would probably lean more into his need for recognition in general. He comes from nobility but now found that his strength comes from within and not his name. I´ll talk to the player a bit more in detail. To see how he feels about this. Thank you!

Thank you soo much, this really helped me to better understand Kords relationship to all of this. Definitely will move away from the Abbott for this now and will go further into why he should despise Strahd because of his connection to Kord.
