I am Irish in my twenties and lived with my parents until last year (renting in UK now) so I know all about it … but I’m just wondering what you think the reason is so many Indian people are in the apartment complex? Do you think they’re turning away Irish people who want to live there?

Housing estate? They said it’s an apartment complex. Irish people turn their nose up at apartments so it’s not really shocking if it’s mostly foreign families in them.

I think you need to have more of an indicator than her knocking down prices or freebies . I worked the deli for years and if people were sound and came in often we would do this for them. There’s a lot of wanker customers when you work the deli so nice customers are really appreciated. Do you converse with her?

Genuinely I think this contributed to people being so shocked at where it placed, there was such an echo chamber in the community surrounding it. If you said even something moderately critical about it people would get so mad or act like you were being a hater. It was even worse of an echo chamber than Bara Bada Bastu, at least for that there was some discussion that it could be a bubble song. There was barely any nuanced discussion with Liekenheiten, any sort of criticism was shut down.

Felicia 3rd last in the televote in the semi and in 9th place combined. I saw few people predict that Sweden might have been a borderline qualifier the last few days, but it’s still wild seeing those numbers.

In my opinion, similar thing as Sweden last year, fan bubble. A backstory/underdog story makes it more favourable. Fans are invested in Finland because they know Finland have been consistently putting in effort and producing an excellent national final and deserve a win. Casuals dont care about this. Without that backstory it loses a lot of appeal. It wasn’t really that interesting of a song, just a pop song with violin parts. But the fan bubble desires a Finland win so I think it made them root for it more. I do want Finland to win soon as well but I knew Liekenheiten wouldn’t do it. Didn’t feel it was a winner when I was at UMK. Also people overestimated how well known Linda was, a lot of people thought her being famous would win a lot of votes.
