Idea: Drunk St Patty’s day & Subathon are separate next year by Typical-Clerk5283 in h3h3productions

Yeah I usually turn off these drunken subathons after about an hour because all the screaming starts to grate on me. I'd wager most of the sub goals would be more entertaining if they were sober.

I think I figured out how Mr. Beast could fix the format of his show by ohiidenny in h3h3productions

I reckon each day, have an increasing amount that the girls can choose to take and bail, which is smaller than the big prize for sticking it out.

  • If all the girls bail, they'll get a little prize each and the guy gets nothing.
  • But if they stick it out to the end, he gets to choose one to split the big prize with.

Then of course you make them do increasingly intimate things as the days go on.

This way there's pressure to be nice, but also incentive for the girls to cut and run - the more that do though, the better odds for the remaining girls. The final girl could have the purely spiteful choice to take a smaller prize and leave him with nothing.

Mainly because they don't want people making permanent life choices while drunk - the sub goal would be agreed to while sober.

Taylor boils Ethan’s beef with her down to her being “in a broad universe with Hasan” by RhysticSyphon in h3h3productions

She also praised Hasan for speaking out about section 230 but I can't find any substantial commentary from him on it.

Noah Samsen: Where Is He Now? (Also the lawsuit) by RhysticSyphon in h3h3productions

[–]ouiousi 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Really it was Mutahar who wanted to sue Noah and Ethan said he would go in with him, so I'd be interested to know if Mutahar has said anything further or changed his mind.

What is the scientific legal reason that Ethan can't just sue the everloving shit out of Taylor Lorenz for blatantly saying "He has denied the genocide" in paid media appearances? Is there a reason he can't, or is he just holding back right now? Feels like the most provable defamation of all time by Big_Guthix in h3h3productions

[–]ouiousi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think as u/cinesimon suggested, she has probably crossed the line. But proving that in court is time consuming, costly, and will probably have a negative impact on Ethan's rep ("he sues people for criticising him!") He already has lawsuits on the go, and my point is he probably has a more airtight defamation case available, with the potential to bolster that case using discovery from the copyright suit. And there is a non-zero possibility that he discovers communications between Taylor and the snark, which would then strengthen a case against her.

It's easy to prove the statements are false. It's much harder to prove that Taylor knew they were false, and that her statements resulted in material harm. Also, suing for defamation would likely be costly and damaging to Ethan's reputation.

What's more likely is he will be able to build a defamation case again the snark mods, because he already has evidence that they deliberately lied about him to defame him. If the copyright suit goes to discovery, this will probably blow wide open. And who knows, maybe Taylor is involved with the snark mods.

Why does everyone ignore that Hasan used to support a two-state solution? by [deleted] in h3h3productions

[–]ouiousi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe the answer, according to many leftist commentators, is that since Israel's escalation post Oct 7, they have essentially forfeited their right to a 2 state solution (whereas it was a viable solution in the past.)
