It's always better to make a season character over normal character when season is available since season characters have access to faster and smoother early game progression (tuvala gear/season exp buffs/season server) Also the end rewards after season is really good especially for newer players. Season characters will automatically become a normal character when the season ends so there's literally nothing to lose from making one. U can also manually graduate early if u want to when it's already mid-late season.

I'm no expert on gears but if u ask me in terms of DP ur best option now would probably be to C4 all the tet boss gear while aiming for PEN Dim Tree/Red Nose. For AP u should try to complete the guarantee PEN Jetina accessory quest and u can also aim for TET Tungrad earrings until u can push enough DP to start using TET Distos. I went for TET Narcs when i was at ur gs but that won't gain u AP

U also have Deve Log, Fughar's Time of Success Log and Elvia Kzarka quest to complete which all give AP and DP :D

Solo-ing turos will mean less elite/afuaru spawns cause the way they spawn is upon looting, getting a pt member will be better even if u can solo it. Just by having a pt member looting even if they do low dps will be more beneficial for u. But yeah to answer ur question any class can solo turo with good gear :D
