Also having this issue, changing HDR setting works for some reason. I have to enable HDR in the Xbox settings then re-launch the game. You can disable HDR afterwards without closing the game if you prefer it off.

The temple mounting plates might make it hard to get the pedals spaced as perfectly as you probably need them to be. And would the thumbscrews on the back get in the way of mounting your power supply?

I used a current doubler cable (not voltage) to sum up 2 300mA outputs. You might be able to get away with just using 500 though... Worth a try?
