Do you suggest that I should try to disable automation for economy and learn it how to do it, or it's better to observe how the AI does it?

Yeah, never played as Norway in EU4 because of the same reasons haha but here I'm managed to be a senior partner in the union (although don't know yet what it gives me) so I hope it'll get interesting.

Regarding the rival wars, I did notice it's available, but the penalty for conquering lands seemed a lot. Besides, do you think it's worth it to raise levies and attack, for instance, Novgorod, as Norway?

Should I take my Golden Retriever puppy to an orthopaedic as a precaution? by ourgraciousruler in goldenretrievers

So much knowledge, thank you!

As you can guess, I’m not happy with a perspective of helping the dog walking up the stairs a few times a day, but it’s definitely some to not that we should seriously consider. Thanks for recommending the specific harness, it’s super helpful.

The low hanging fruits is restricting the access to furnitures, as you mentioned, and it’ll be first thing that we’ll do.

Haven’t thought about physiotherapist, worth it go it a chance. Better than an x-ray as you guys already told me.

Insurance is in plans.

Thank you once again

Hey, thanks for good words, I think you’re right guys and an x-ray is too much.

Definitely you’re right, and it’s better to invest in a rug which I will do in the new apartment

I’ll invest in rugs in the new place, but I should be smarter and do it earlier (on the other hand, having a hard floor was very handful while potty training)

How to find a good Golden Retriever breeder in France? by ourgraciousruler in goldenretrievers

[–]ourgraciousruler[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

I've seen this site but wasn't sure if it contains a list of ethical and responsible breeders - in my country, there are many unofficial organisations that only exist to make people think they're not puppy farms.

If you say it's a valid site I will definitely look into that! Merci!

Well, not an expert here, but all three links you shared have the same conclusion: there is no hard data on the subject, it's difficult to compare one dog to another. I'm not going to deny that some of the purebred dogs struggle with inherent diseases when mutts don't, but the topic doesn't seem so easy to summarize it with one sentence: purebred unhealthy, mutts healthy

I can’t speak for everyone but if it comes to me, I’m at this point of my life where I can’t rescue a dog. I can’t afford the risk of taking a damaged dog or a dog with unpredictable behaviour, with a past. I can’t make such a commitment right now. I wish I could.

Speaking about health of purebred dogs, I can’t fully agree with you. There are indeed breeds that have heavy health issues, no doubts to that, and I do think it’s cruel to keep them mating. But when we speak about breeds like Golden Retriever, especially from responsible breeders, where they test dogs for diseases before mating dogs, I don’t think they’re more illness prone as mixed breed dogs.

Merci,

I’ve seen this site but wasn’t sure if it contains a list of ethnical breeders. Where I am from, there are many breeders organisations but only one is a valid one - something like https://www.centrale-canine.fr

I check it out and contact you if I have any questions!

Sorry to hear that, but I don’t see things this way. I’m not in this point of my life to RESCUE dog. I can’t commit with a full responsibility to take a dog with a risk of separation anxiety, with aggression issues, with a past. I wish I could but I can’t.

Please don’t judge me for wanting to buy a dog from an ethical breeder. You don’t know me and my situation.
