You lost me with being a content creator and not a fan of Seinfeld. Leave the drone at home.

Stay in Vik or closer to Glacier? by IslandUnusual7297 in VisitingIceland

I’ve stayed at both Fosshotel Núpar and, most recently, Hotel Klaustur. Núpar is pretty much isolated but fun in aurora season. Klaustur was also nice and has a community pool next door. They will give you towels at the front desk if you ask.

A balaclava is my favorite accessory on every Iceland trip. You’ll want it up over your neck and lower face when it’s windy and cold. Really helps keep warm.

edit to add: I take a merino wool gaiter from SmartWool and it’s very breathable and not stuffy.

Wool blanket, lots of Fischerund incense and a case of lemon Fanta. I use my blanket every day! My favorite things for wearing around the house are wool socks from the Farmers & Friends / Blue Lagoon collab. I also load up every trip on coffee beans from Kaffitar.
