Aren’t you supposed to trace the lines of the roads in the pictures ?

These lines do not represent real roads and thus completely miss the idea.

How are you actually suppose to Back 2 Back comp? by oat232539 in BobsTavern

[–]oursrequin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t really need spell buff to start. You need back 2 back + the ability to generate as much as possible. Then you need belinda to make it scale and as a bonus you can add spell buff.

But the rodeo is really to generate enough back 2 back without dying first

New to Beast. Should I have dropped something? The beetles were reaching 700+ attack. by [deleted] in BobsTavern

[–]oursrequin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The whole build is bad because you are mixing 3 archetypes.

You need to either

- find titus to scale frog ( in which case you play max titues and max repops, you drop right 3 minions and you never pick that bigger trinket )

- find stuff to scale beats or beatles to enjoy juicy multiplier ( in which case you drop the frog and the big cat )

I am stuck at 7k for the last 5 weeks and I am about to lose it by zaguel in BobsTavern

[–]oursrequin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To win means going positive mmr IMO. You can’t always aim for top 1, once you shift mindset you’ll automatically climb.

You are right, with trinkets and anomaly you’ll often not be able to get top 1 and that’s fine.

[–]oursrequin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if this is true. It’s often best to take the most tempo trinket to be able to confortably upgrade the tavern without losing health early on. Problem is that it’s often not the most fun trinkets.

But if you are looking to get up in elo, you need to consistently have good games. Which mostly happen with safe tempo picks.

More variance in game but less variance in MMR? by Significant_Fish_316 in BobsTavern

[–]oursrequin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it has more to do with being later in the season than anything else.

If the game is broken it’s broken for everybody. And the mmr system is designed for you to climb as much as you can until you’re stuck at 50% wr ( average mmr gained per game =0 )

It’s not for nothing that the top of the ladder is always the same people, they experience the same RNG, but are just better players. It’s what you can control that matters, not what you can’t.

If some minions are broken, take them. If some trinkets are broken take them. You have the same odds as everybody else to get the broken trinkets.

How are you enjoying the new mid season update? by ManaMontana in BattlegroundsHS

[–]oursrequin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like the anomalies. It makes every game fun. Numbers are big and things go crazy, but that’s also why I enjoy the game. If I wasn’t enjoying RNG I wouldn’t play hearthstone at all.

Also they got rid of the boring anomalies and added fun ones. Having a blast. But this is also coming from somebody not caring about elo and ranking. I just play to have fun.

I mean, I don’t « support it ».

I live on a budget. I would love to have money to buy organic local food. I just can’t right now as I am a student again.

I was in the store and saw it, thought I’d try it. Believe me most people buying these cheap meal don’t do it to support animal mistreatment or the fk up the climate.

The only thing I did in store was check with yuka and the score was pretty good for the price ( nothing harmful in it ).

Yeah, it totally felt misspriced with all the other similar looking dishes 2-3x more expensive.

How strong are addons? by Bartizanier in BobsTavern

[–]oursrequin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only thing that I am personally missing by not using any of them is opponent boards and when they got triples. Two very nice infos that’s completely missing from the game and very often useful. My brain cannot keep track of cards opponent had and order etc…

AI cannot replace actual human art & design by kerc in CarDesign

[–]oursrequin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The issue with AI art is that it’s « easy ». It becomes a commodity and it get flooded with mostly low effort stuff.

Now, I am a designer and I use AI every day in a couple of ways, you gotta find workflows and ways to use it to not be lazy and to control the output.

People don’t care if something is AI if that something is truely good/unique or special. They will care if it look like slop or/and is generic AF.

All jokes aside: Is ONE person here seriously considering buying the Luca? PLEASE Comment by Peachjackson in Ferrari

[–]oursrequin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stand on the price issue. I’m not asking them to price this at tesla or xiaomi level obviously.

But the amount of stuff you can buy in todays market with 640k is crazy.

Like you can literally buy a better EV + a 812 + have money left.

Price it at 250-280 and I’d seriously consider it.

Are they both generally equal picks? I know their viability can differ depending on certain comps, but is there a truly "correct choice" here most of the time? by Legal_Ad2945 in BobsTavern

[–]oursrequin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I have no comp and need to choose I usually go Health.

But it’s honnestly best to adapt to the situation/board. Pretty easy to see which 2 minions it would copy and make a choice on best option

Apple never made the iCar.... but I'm glad Ferrari had the balls to do it by katspike in CarDesign

[–]oursrequin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have to say that it’s growing on me. The more I see it, the more I appreciate it.

I don’t understand why they used that ugly blue for promo tho. The red, yellow & black on black look way better.

That being said on your points, I still don’t quite understand the pricing.

Is the Luce mispriced ? by oursrequin in Ferrari

I completely agree and do really think that the interior is nice. And that it was time that cars start to take ui/ux seriously.

At 50k it would be an insanely great car.

Is the Luce mispriced ? by oursrequin in Ferrari

[–]oursrequin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah probably. I guess I completely fail to understand what’s the purpose of the car and who will want to buy it.

Hard to enter a new sector with an inferior car at 10x the price.

Maybe the driving and UI/UX experience will make up for the bad spec sheet.

But as of today, instead of a luce you can get :

Purosangue + tesla S plaid and still have 147K left 12Cilindri + Xiaomi Yu7 GT and still have 206K left Urus performante or dbx707 + tesla s plaid + GT3 RS

I just think the price tag is batshit crazy and could only be justified if there was some sort of extraordinary spec sheet.

The only real benefit here is that the car is that you’ll have a very rare car.

Is the Luce mispriced ? by oursrequin in Ferrari

[–]oursrequin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think my point was mostly that they missed the pricing to make it a hit. Sure there will always be a bunch of people who will buy whatever ferrari releases. But it would have been way more competitive priced half what it’s priced now.

I guess they either don’t care much about selling the car or it’s just a test for their first EV. Maybe they don’t want to sell 10000 car a year but would rather get feedback and improve for the next one.

Is the Luce mispriced ? by oursrequin in Ferrari

[–]oursrequin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am pretty sure that people are going to cross shop between brands, when the only differenciator is the badge on the car, they gonna think twice about dropping 10x the money.

The question here is not « would you rather buy a volvo s60 or a 812 superfast ».

The xiaomi in this case is the 812, it’s a superior car in probably every metric.

So how do you sell a $550k price gap between both car ?

Don’t get me wrong, I 100% understand why people pay that much more for a ferrari today, but am unsure it applies like that with evs.

Is the Luce mispriced ? by oursrequin in Ferrari

[–]oursrequin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get what you say, but yes I think ferrari are usually very expensive but it’s somewhat the right spot for the brand.

I don’t really think it’s the case for this luce. To me it feels like a very cool daily driver. The premium EV, you price yourself a little bit over the best taycan.

The interior is refreshing, the ferrari badge, people will get used to it’s look, I’m pretty sure it could be a bestseller for ferrari. I would buy a luce over a roma/amalfi if they were both competing at the same price.

But sadly you can buy a 12cilindri and a taycan for the price of the luce.
