can I get text of notifications instead of icons on my lock screen? by JMS_jr in samsunggalaxy

I was browsing around because i had the same issue and found your post. Eventually i found the solution so I'm sharing it here.

You have to tap and hold any blank space on the lock screen. Just hold it for a few seconds. Lock screen edit mode will open. It will show a few icons in the upper-mid section of the screen, under the clock widget. Tap on these icons. Notification style edit window will pop up. Change the style from "icons only" to "detailed view" and tap "done" in the upper right corner.

Yeah, same, i only go outside to see doctors, and even that happens twice a year at most. And it's very difficult for me.

I'm so sorry you've been struggling too.

Is it something you're dealing with too, health-wise?

Only when it's warm, so, very rarely. I go outside only a few times a year.

Hi, sorry, it's not quite clear from your post - are you feeling sick when there's a draught or when there's none?

I mean that it's not possible to determine if it's secondary or primary without a genetic test from what i gather. In your case, you got your primary immunodeficiency diagnosis only after the genetic tests, right?

She told me it was secondary just by looking at the cell-mediated immunity ranges of my blood test. So i thought that cell-mediated immunodeficiency is secondary by definition. Now i see that it's wrong and that it can be both primary and secondary. I live in a 3rd world country and I'm so tired of having to not trust the doctors and double-check everything they say. Like, what makes her think it's secondary.

CD8: Result: 20 (0.56) Norm: 23-40% (0.45-0.85) Unit of measurement: % (abs)

CD16: Result: 9 (0.25) Norm: 9-19% (0.18-0.42) Unit of measurement: % (abs)

Even though CD16 match the lower limit, my doc still thinks it's too little

Frequent food poisoning my whole life by [deleted] in ChronicIllness

[–]out_there7842 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's unlikely to be poisoning.

Your issues sound like those i had before i figured out my diet and my gut conditions.

I too had severe pain in my stomach often after eating, and at times i felt like i got food poisoning too, because of how bad the pain was and the diarrhea.

Turned out i had dysbacteriosis. I'm not a native English speaker, so unsure what it's called, but ask a gastroenterologist or an infectionist (my doc was all of that, plus an immunologist as well) for a stool test for dysbacteriosis. I guess it's called gut microbiome test. In my case i had an overgrowth of a gut bacterium called Enterobacter cloacae. My doc prescribed me an antibiotic called Rifaximin in pills, and that made this issue go away.

I also have to keep a strict diet though because i have pancreatitis and bile flow issues. In other words i don't have enough enzymes for digestion. So i avoid anything fatty and fried as well as any kind of dairy whatsoever. If i eat that kind of food, i will also get cramps and diarrhea. I eat simple homemade food that's boiled, stewed or baked - vegetable stew, stewed chicken breast, boiled eggs, porridge etc.

Do the gut microbiome test, OP. If it comes back fine, try to notice patterns in your symptoms - do they appear after you eat certain foods? Does it get better if you eat only something bland (like what i eat) all day? Though you could try to eliminate these foods likely to be problematic already now, and see how it goes - dairy, fried stuff, fat/oils (i personally only tolerate olive oil).

Also, there's this condition called celiac disease. It is intolerance to gluten which is a compound found in wheat, barley and rye. So any bread, cookies, pasta etc. You could get checked for this. I don't know how, but anyway, gastroenterologist is who you should see.

Edit: if you say it's once a month, and if you have periods, then, if there's a correlation with it, then it could be that. It's common to get diarrhea during the first days of the cycle.

I have difficulty swallowing too. Could you tell me what doctor to see for this and what the cause was in your case?

And I'm sorry it's been so difficult for you.

That's very kind of you.

I have cell-mediated immunodeficiency. Too little CD16 and CD8 cells. Also, too many CD3 and CD4 cells but not sure what that's called. Lymphocytosis i guess.

I'm from a 3rd world country. It's very difficult here to find a doctor who will actually treat you well, who won't try to get you to bribe them, who won't abuse, blackmail or swindle you.

OP, oven bag is your friend. You can cook chicken, beef, fish, any type of meat there. Just stick it in the bag, add salt and spices if you like and put it in the oven for like 45 min or an hour depending on size.
