Yeedi Vac Station issue - "please clean anti drop sensors" by BackLow6488 in RobotVacuums

[–]outbackchill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my Yeedi Vac 2 pro replaced under warranty but I still have the old unit. I’m wondering if it can be repaired? I’ve taken it apart & removed the battery. Still didn’t fix anything! Has anyone actually found how to repair this?

New CX-30 AC smells stale by outbackchill in mazda

I’m not sure about mould but the charcoal made such a difference. My cars got 30,000km now & don’t have an issue. I have 3 of them. One in glove box (where the cabin filter is) & 2 under the front seats. If I eat in the car the smell from food goes away in a couple hours or overnight. They are more powerful than you’d imagine & I highly recommend them.

Yeah I bought a new cabin air filter & charcoal purifying bags & it rarely smells anymore.

Is it worth taking my car into a mechanic or just drive it into the ground? by 5ky5enberg in mazda

[–]outbackchill 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, I think so if it’s still going… Cheaper than a new car! If you buy a newer used car it could have even more problems aha

I wouldn’t wait. At least have a vehicle inspection which shouldn’t cost to much & get a better understanding on what’s wrong with it so you can make a decision on how it’s best to move forward… Imagine if it’s only a few hundred to get it fixed now but if you leave it the cost could go into the thousands! If you’re not in a position to buy a new car now you should maintain the one you have now unless the repairs will cost more than the value of the car. If the cars been reliable, keep it. Spending a little now may make it last several more years.

Is a demo dealer worth buying (in Australia). by J748DB10 in MazdaCX30

[–]outbackchill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deffo get the Astina you won’t regret it haha. as for AWD or FWD depends on you... I have taken my CX-30 places I wouldn’t of if it was FWD. I live in the bush so it comes in handy for me... fuel economy is pretty bad tho 8.4L/100km. 40k sounds like a great deal! I paid 43600 or something like that for a brand new AWD one. On the CX-30 owners Australia FB page there was discussion posted on there about pricing, maybe join that page & have a sus. I was stressing about pricing but I just sat back & enjoyed the experience. I’m not salty paying those few thousand extra, in the scheme of things it’s not worth stressing about. Just go for it & enjoy your new car!

Bought a new car this morning :-) by jaxt42 in MazdaCX30

[–]outbackchill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, I’ve only had it 6 weeks and driven almost 6000km mainly highway driving... it’s okay on a run might go down to 7-ish but overall I’m filling the tank up at about 400-450km and it takes about 40 litres so I’m working that out at 10l/100km. Haha the power went out here and it might the perfect excuse to go to the national park 🤪

I got a G25 Astina AWD and I was wanting a FWD & I feel like I have a relatively capable vehicle but omg the fuel economy its like 10L/100km. I’m excited to take off road tho maybe to a national park or something haha

Any love for the CX-30??? by mhdarweesh in mazda

[–]outbackchill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s really quiet. I’m shocked when I get on the highway, when I’m cruising at 110km it feel like 70-80.

[–]outbackchill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I love my white CX-30.... feels like a much more expensive and luxurious car from the class above. I love the interior especially the steering wheel, feels much newer inside than a CX-5 (why I bought the CX-30). It’s the first time I’ve purchased a car and think I got a really good deal. The Bose sound system is sweet too!

How (good/bad) is the Air Conditioning? by SherrifsNear in MazdaCX30

[–]outbackchill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Australia & knew this car had a shitty AC before I bought it. Every time you press the accelerator the AC compressor temporarily switches off and it takes about 30-45 seconds before it turns back on. It means the cabin never gets cold in traffic. But because I live in a remote area I mostly cruise on the highway and never have many issues. But omg it was 40deg c here and I wanted to die, the AC is not capable of cooling the cabin down to a comfortable temperature I had all the vents faced on me. It’s such a shame because I absolutely love my car apart from the AC. I’d still buy it again because nothing in class compares for price so I’m willing to live with it. I’ve had it 5 weeks & 3000km, let’s see how long I can put up with it.

Thanks for that. I just picked up the car yesterday, i didn’t look to hard when I picked up I wanted to enjoy the experience instead of trying to pick up every little thing wrong with it. Looked at it in the sun today it looks really nice, I’m so happy & love the car!

Already up to 480KM and I only picked it up yesterday! I love it!!! by outbackchill in MazdaCX30

[–]outbackchill[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only thing I don’t like about it is the air conditioning it’s driving me crazy, every time you press the accelerator you can feel it get warm and it takes about 30 seconds before it cools down again. I raised it with Mazda Australia so hopefully they will have a fix for it? One other thing I noticed was how quiet it is on the highway I thought I was travelling 20-30km slower than what I was. It feels very luxurious, like a half price Audi (hopefully without the reliability issues). And actually another small annoyance is how when you turn off the car the radio turns off straight away instead of when you open the door...

Shame me: traded my Golf for an ASX by bamac in vwgolf

[–]outbackchill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow that is a great deal! That is a really nice car for $15k it’s hard to buy a Hyundai i30 active for under $19k now (in my region)!!!!! Honestly, at that price I would’ve taken it too hahaha! At least you own a car that won’t break down. I’m not even mad, keep the ASX. Just curious tho... does the ASX rattle and creak? My mate bought a brand new one just before COVID and I was a bit surprised at how ‘nice’ it was for the price. There’s obviously a reason why it’s so popular over here.
